we hired this guy for one reason, he's cheap. We wouldn't pay for Shaw or Snyder. what's this guy done to earn a spot as an NBA coach?

he wasn't even in he final 3, what does that tell you?

seriously, are you writing the checks. Do you know how much he is worth. Money should not be the motivation here. Getting the best man here for what we got here on the roster. Not because you want a name you recognized.

First reaction was the same as when we signed Dominick McGuire....Who the $%*# is Mike Dunlap?

Second Reaction: Has there ever been a college ASSISTANT named to an NBA head coaching job?

Third Reaction: What a gamble! If Dunlap fails, MJ continues his fame as a failed owner/GM/decision maker, but imagine in Dunlap turns this ship around and gets us going....man would be a genius

I'm not going to blow this out of proportion. I want to research this guy, I've read a paragraph about him and that is it, and that paragraph was that he's an excellent teacher and a mastermind with the X's and O's. He's our coach, and I'm going to support him until he gives me reason not to..

I think it's a smart hire from what I can tell. We need a teacher, we need to go outside the box, we need to listen to Cho. Nothing to lose.

I was thinking about NBA failures Tim Floyd and Jerry Tarkanian......except that they were far more proven as college head coaches before entering the league.....
