Wish I could help you out. The only place I know to get jersey's is from the team store at the arena. They are virtually impossible to find online anywhere. If you look for Bobcats jersey's online all you will find is Okafor and Morrison jersey's. Hopefully all of this changes with the new design, but I doubt it.

Even the team store is only offering "pre-buying" the new jerseys. However, if they don't stock a particular player, you can always have it made (same is true off of the NBA site). Just like John Smith could have #15 Jersey with SMITH on the back, you could order one with #0 and BIYOMBO on it.

I actually contacted nba.com's store about why there was only the AWAY option for pre-ordering a MKG jersey (I want a HOME jersey) and they just responded back with they are not offering that jersey at this time. I did see someone in the team store at the draft party taking orders for new jerseys but I didn't stop to ask any questions about it them. I will probably be uptown this week sometime and will try and ask them what's up with pre-orders and when they think they may get the actual jerseys in. I would think that when the actually stock them Hendo, Smack and Walker (as they were the ones in the photos and also the jersey they had on mannequins around the team store and arena last week) will all be available along with MKG.

So, I haven't posted this on BCP before, but in light of all the anti-MJ stories out there, I thought I'd tell one experience that I had (indirectly) with MJ.

The year we made the playoffs, I was a season ticket holder. As you know, it was very difficult to find authentic jerseys at the team store or online. I got sort of fed up with it, so I went to the arena on my lunch break one Tuesday afternoon to complain a little about it. I went to the team store and they said "Sorry, maybe by December." DECEMBER??!!

So I said what the heck, while I am still here, I'll take a walk around the concourse until someone stops me. I was walking around the lower level and I saw a tall black man in nice clothes walking next to an ENORMOUS man, looked like a bodyguard. I usually don't do this, but I shouted "Hey, MJ!". They stopped and turned around... sure enough, it was Michael Jordan. I said "I can barely afford the season tickets I have, and all I want to do is spend more $$ on an authentic jersey but y'all won't even let me buy one! What gives?" I said it half-jokingly... MJ didn't say anything, but said something to his bodyguard. The big fella walked up to me and told me to walk down to the parking lot with him.

At this point, I thought I was going to be murdered for shouting at MJ and not calling him Mr. Jordan. The large man brought me down to his Escalade and said "Who are your favorite players?" I told him GW, Chandler, and Felton. He reached into a box and pulled out 3 size 52 authentic home jerseys, autographed by the respective players. He gave them to me and said "I better not see any of these on Ebay." He took down my name and # just to be sure.

I just thought that was awesome. MJ really is a good guy, and I'm glad he's our owner! It just sucks that none of them play for us anymore AND we changed jerseys... lol

While its certainly no substitute for a jersey, they do already have the navy jersey tees of Walker, Smack, and Henderson available in the team store.

lol good read, i still dont think i ever recall seeing a authentic bobcats jersey that wasnt custom being sold, even 6 months ago i checked every site and every time had one of these stars but not us, i always thought maybe it was because we had no stars?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the Bobcats have released an official MKG jersey yet? I know I'm definitely going to get one, "Kidd-Gilchrist" is going to look awesome on the back of that jersey. Thanks for any help.

They haven't released an official one yet, only pre orders with numbers pending. I don't know what number he is going to be, Wikipedia lists him as #2, that could be just because of his draft number. He may be waiting to see if Augustin walks, and then take 14. Also theres a photoshop of him in 31 in honor of his dad which he may be as well. Yea, thats all I know.
