Default Solid Draft Night if this happens

Based on my evaluation of this draft: I think our best situation is to move away from the lottery, stockpile future picks, and grab solid contributors later in the draft...so here's an idea I have.

    TRADE 1
Bobcats get: Picks 4 and 24
    Cavaliers get: Pick 2

Why for Charlotte: Move back 2 picks and collect another 1st...no brainer.

Why for Cleveland: If you want Beal, he'll be gone in the Top 3. You get your guy...obvious.

    TRADE 2
Bobcats get: Picks 14, 16, Future 1st round pick
    Rockets get: Pick 4

Why for Charlotte: Besides Davis, there's a lot of uncertainty of the talent in this draft. So ask me this, why would you invest yourself on a huge contract for a guy that's risky? You basically can't if you have the option to move out. Houston wants to move up in this draft, so after Sacramento balks at trading Tyreke Evans they should take advantage and use this to move back. Gives Charlotte 3 picks in the 1st round (14, 16, and 24) to add some very underrated players that'll be there later in the draft while not committing a lot of money in case they don't turn up. Turning the 2nd pick into 4 first round picks will be a huge win.

Why for Houston: They want to move up in this draft. It's evident they want to push towards Andre Drummond since they'll lose out on securing Dwight Howard. They give up picks in a package to land a guy they want...obviously a win in their eyes.

Pick 14: Perry Jones, PF, Baylor. His versatility is a huge plus. Jones is an excellent athlete with a solid offensive skill-set. His shooting will be highly coveted by new coach Mike Dunlap who wants to acquire some shooters.

Pick 16: Moe Harkless, SF, St. Johns. Sure, his familiarity with Dunlap is a huge draw but let's not sell Harkless' ability short. The kid was clearly St. John's best player last season. Harkless is a great athlete and the fact that he'll be right with Dunlap to continue his progression is a major win for him. With time, he could be a very good NBA Player.

Pick 24: Royce White, SF, Iowa St. Royce has excellent upside, but he needs time to develop. Excellent news for new coach/teacher Mike Dunlap who will look to plug him into the Bobcats' system while exploiting parts of White's skill set that will help the Bobcats and White.

Pick 31: Jared Sullinger, PF, Ohio St. My guess is: Sullinger will fall out of the first round. Sullinger, like DeJuan Blair, has red flags by many teams because of injuries. Since 2nd round picks aren't guaranteed contracts, you'd be foolish to pass on Lottery talent like Sullinger. He's a very polished young man who can provide a similar punch like Okafor did for the Bobcats (being a 10-10 guy); for a 2nd rounder that's great production.

I feel walking away with those guys would be much better than walking away with one of the top names in this draft. The talent in this draft is later, but it's a lot of projects. That's cool because the Bobcats aren't winning anytime soon and they flat out need to draft good players over hitting a "home run"; drafting a home run in this draft is rather risky.
