I will prefice this by saying I am a diehard Kentucky basketball fan. I grew up in Kentucky, went to school at Kentucky, and my family has season tickets so I go to as many games as possible.
I have listened to my husband talk a lot about people who the Bobcats are thinking about drafting and I have heard that it will be probably be either Thomas Robinson or Harrison Barnes if they pick at #2 or #4 (if they trade with Cleveland). If they make the trade with Cleveland and get the #24 pick I think the Bobcats should think about drafting Marquis Teague. He reminds me a lot of Rajon Rondo and in going to a bunch of Bobcats games with my husband last year the point guards were pretty awful on defense at keeping the other team from getting layups.
Post Ben Gordon Trade:
Now I am completely unsure of what the Bobcats should do...haha...I guess that is why all this guessing is useless...

i think the only way this will occur is if we make a trade to get in the mid- first round. Teague won't fall to the second. I hear that Dallas maybe high on him also.
Don't want him. He's not even truly great on the college level yet.Plays out of control, not a great passer, not a great shooter.Just because his brother is in the nba and he can run 100mph doesn't make him worth wasting a pick in a draft this good.We already have a shooting point guard in kemba. What we need is a back up,who knows he is going to be the back up,Who can come in and run the offense smoothly with the 2nd string or spot start if he has to.I would take scott machado in the 2nd round and pencil him in as our back up for the next 7 or 8 years 100 times out of 100 before i would waste a pick on a guy as raw and over hyped as teague.
