I really like McLemore as the #1 pick. Watched Len against Duke and I have seen him one other time. He is not worth the #1 pick, but I would love to get him with the Portland pick. Unfortunately, he will go somewhere in the #5 - #8 range so we wont have a chance. But McLemore and Len would be a terrific haul for this class.

Better than I gave him credit for, still not great though ie ball is always on a shoe string. Pretty good though considering his size.

Let's see if I can reason out an answer for this.

    McLemore:
Why for us?: Slots into 2 spot perfectly. Brings much needed athleticism and range.
Why not?: Passive to a fault. Needs to improve handles.

    Muhammad
Why for us: Extremely competitive, partnered with MKG brings excellent size to wings. Cold blooded scorer with short-term memory.
Why Not?: Probably too slow to play NBA 2. Needs to improve handles. Sucks at defense.

Verdict: Shabazz by the narrowest of margins b/c a line-up of Kemba, McLemore, MKG, Mullens, and Biz is overall too passive. Only Kemba can create his own shot and looks for it. Mully looks for his shot but I'd rather have him relegated to a 2/3rd option. McLemore is a better fit on paper but using my amateur psychoanalysis it appears that Shabazz can bring the one thing nobody in this draft can: The curse of Jordan's drive to be great.

Cho-net will probably choose McLemore b/c of being a winner from a good Kansas program and b/c Shabazz plays for dysfunctional UCLA but his Airness will veto him, he will recognize the curse inside Muhammad. You can see it every time he shoots freethrows.

Never said they did, friend. I said their handles are better than Muhammad's.

Id give slight edge to Bazz. Especially with how well he has been shooting the 3. I'll be a happy camper with either Baz or Mclemore.

Would be ok Zeller or Bennett.

Wouldnt draft Noel not knowing how he will respond to the injury.

I'm leaning towards Shabazz over Mclemore at this point...i don't want Zeller the 6 foot 8 wingspan really bugs me....i wouldn't mind anthony Bennett or Nerlens Noel though even if he's coming off the knee injury

Bazz is averaging like 18ppg and shooting really well from 3.

Def has the edge right now imo

I think he would be much better if he got into shape and lost about 15 pounds

Everyone is saying that Bazz is an undersized 3 and will struggle to play the 2 in the NBA. However, Mclemore doesn't seem to have that killer mentality where he is ready to be the guy and put the team on his back when his team needs to score. Right now I think we go with Bazz just becasue the last few years we have really gone with people who have attitudes similar to MJ. Biz, Kemba and MKG all have great work ethics and are natural leaders (maybe more Kemba and Biz) that just seems to fit a little more with what we have been going for

yepp UK that's why i think we would lean more towards shabazz over Mclemore...the attitude, his work ethic all that....like you said we've been building the team with those kind of guys and shabazz fits that mold
