Kendrick is much stiffer than Withey.

His volleyball background has manifested itself into a very fluid and coordinated athlete with a great nose for the ball on both rebounding and shot blocking. He's been the best shot blocker in the country for the past two years (yes, better than both Davis and Noel).

I don't think he's a starter at the next level, but he can definitely be a contributor. Problem is he's not a lottery player IMO so we won't be looking at him unless we get another pick (which I doubt)

Mully is primarily a jump shooting big imo
So what's a good reasonable comparison for Olynyk? Scola? Idk

Yeah that's a better comparison. I think Olynyk is a much better finisher thought. Both have solid post games also

He's kind of in that Scola mold. Not quite as crafty on the low block (very few are) but has more range and is a better athlete, though we didn't really get to see Scola until he was older.

If he tops out his development, he can be a poor man's Al Jefferson, IMO

I don't watch much if at all college ball.
But once in a while I'll check out all these guys you talk about.

Olynyk doesn't seem very athletic really. However my goodness he has an amazing touch around the basket. I wonder how he'll go in the NBA with amazing athletes like McGee and DeAndre roaming the paint, and whether his layups will hold up against them.

Didn't know where to put this . So i put my question hear . I havn't seen S Currys name in any mocks , but have watched him play . His game is all most exactly like his brothers . He would put tons of buts in our seats and like all the Currys he can ball SCORE
Is he a first round pick ? Thoughts of him on the pro level ? Im thinking at worst hes a back up combo guard ? Some thoughts about Curry ? He seems to be flying under the radar just asking?

    Thanks Ammofan!

i don't think he gets drafted. he is about 5'11-6'0" (listed at 6'2", but i have been close enough to him to know he isn't), won't have the separation or handles to get space for his jumper and isn't tall enough to shoot it over nba defenders.

with a super hot tournament he may be a 2nd rounder. i think he will be a 10-12 y europe pro though.

No chance he gets drafted. As a big duke fan I would like to see him go in the 2nd round somewhere, and Chef is right. I've been next to Curry and he is the same height as me (6'0). He will have a fine career overseas thought.

Kelly Olynyk just threw down a filthy dunk. I'll give him that he's got sneaky athleticism.
