Anyone else thing Bennett might could function as a Dejuan Blair-type guy? Blair is actually a bit shorter than Bennett but still plays the 4 and 5 effectively as a bench player. Bennett is obviously way more talented than Blair, but I'm just saying despite being short Blair can play center some. It'd be great if Bennett could do the same, he looks like a tank out there and can score from anywhere.

It's down to Noel and McLemore for me. I'd be happy with either. I love Oladipo too, but we need a shooter at the 2.

tend to agree with this, but with the (perceived) weakness of this draft, how good could any deal be? i highly doubt any team will give up next year's pick. perhaps a future pick to shield our chicago pick in a few years? to me, it wouldn't be worth it to rid ourselves of tyrus's deal, as the salary floor will still require us to spend the money.

Never say never.. there are always draft happy GM's that seem to wanna be in the loop making moves. Someone may really want Burke, or Ben, etc and see them in their plans for building a great team. Cho just gotta find em, lol. He is focused on the 2014 draft like the rest of us. Honestly, we dont know if this draft is actually "weak" until a few years after it takes place.

I am warming up to the idea of Noel or Bazz being selected. Dont wanna get too high on a player until they show what they got on a college level.. remember when everyone were high on Bazz and Noel when they were coming out of H.S? Same way they are stoked about Wiggins, Parker and Gordon now. I would select Noel this year but trading down is a great idea also.. but i believe Noel is gonna be the best player out of this draft.

I've watched a LOT of college basketball this year and I think the three players with consistent allstar potential are Noel (If healthy), smart, and Olidipo. I mentioned this in a thread I started in the main forum, but if I'm cho and after workouts I thought Marcus Smart was a future top 5 point guard, I would not hesitate to trade kemba for another lottery pick this year. Draft Smart with the first or second pick and hope we can get that Kemba pick high enough to take Olidipo. Smart with Olidipo and MKG on the wings would be a terror on defense, and all three can attack the basket. Olidipo is not a great shooter, but he has good form and range and will certainly improve, so I'm not concerned about spacing.
