Yeah, I noticed when Bazz showed no emotion after Drew made that game winner. Though that does place a question mark on who he is, you also have to look at how bad he wanted that ball with the clock winding down. I watch Mclemore and in the final minutes of games he looks to be just going with the flow, very content with not being "the guy".
anyone else feel like Marcus Smart could possibly play SG in the NBA...he's a bit undersized at 6 foot 4 but he's strong enough to guards 2's i feel....he would help take a bit of the scoring and ball handling load off kemba allowing kemba to play some off the ball as well. His intangibles fit what we are trying to build here with the hard working mentality, doing anything to win, and leadership. He also is a great defender but the problem is we would have a SG and SF with inconsistent jumpers...but Smart's case it seems easy to fix because he has very good mechanics so when thats the case its all about repetition...i just feel he will be a star...at worst a 6th man combo guard off the bench for us.
when is the combine ?

Well, I did say 'extremely' competitive. Plus he has Tourette's which used to make him throw hissy fits or something in games when he was younger, so we may be confusing his body expressing his Tourettes with him being a crappy teammate. I'm not going to play armchair psychologist on this one. I will say that I think he is perfectly validated with being upset with his team's performance that game as they were a tire fire of hero ball, no defense and chucking.
Well let me throw you this scenario. Let's say the Bobcats have two options. They end up with the 4th pick and can draft Smart and a Plumlee or Olynyk type with the Portland pick OR they can draft Noel/Bennet and the 6'6" Michael Carter-Williams with the Portland pick. Which would you choose?
Haven't seen Smart play all year, what's so special about him? I also don't understand when people say he runs the 2 and he's a good passer. If this kid is a really good passer why doesn't he just run the 1?
BRING BACK THE BUZZ 2014 ANDREW WIGGINS TAKEOVER
Chad Ford updated draft lotto shows us drafting McLemore #1 Plumlee #13. Doesn't have Shabazz drafted until #8. If we could trade our first for both of Phoenix's first that would be awesome. Could draft Shabazz, Plumlee, and McCollum according to the lotto.
I know it is only one game, but McLemore looked like every bit the #1 pick today against WVU. 36/7/4 with 19 in the first half. I watched him drop 3's, slash to the rim, catch and toss allys and play pretty good D. I just hope we get the 1 so that it's up to us to choose between McLemore/Shabazz/Oladipo/Bennett/Noel.
