I mean, seriously?
1. Where is MKG's 233 lbs.?? (Try to keep it clean, fellas) I'm not saying that number is a lie. But am I the only one who thinks he LOOKS more like 215?? Maybe Kentucky's uniforms hide muscle really well?
2. I've been looking through some of his game footage and notice he catches a lot of defenders off guard by making that quick post up near the basket, almost under the rim. Sometimes he'll get similar position off an interior screen. Does anybody see him being effective at this against NBA small forwards next year? I envision a play with shooters Mullens and Gordon on the perimeter, and Bismack making the screen for MKG to get position near the basket.
3. Does anybody find the name "Kidd-Gilchrist" to be grating?? Too many consonants to form. "Kidd" is fine. "Gilchrist" is fine. I know he added "Kidd" to honor his uncle, but I hope the Bobcats announcers just refer to him as "MKG" all game long.

Kemba and Bismack: The Future Has Arrived
Not surprised at all by his weight. He is a very very strong player and loves contact. In the post he abuses smaller guys. MKG also has a very polished jump hook he goes to in the mid post.
The name is fine, besides half the players get a nickname anyhow.
Kidd-Gilchrist is one of the most swagged out last names i've seen in my lifetime.
When I watch highlights of him play, I also thought he was a tad skinny. When you compare him to a guy like Harrison Barnes you can really see the difference in muscle mass. Although when you look at his shoulders they don't seem to small so I think he hasn't stopped bulking out.
