I grew up on the x-books and batman the animated series, but am fond of those muties. DC's new 52 was a great launch pad into their universe, which I always felt was soo complex and kinda convoluted previously, but I kinda dig their superhero titles these days and cant really place exactly why. Vertigo's Sandman series is my favorite ever. I dunno. I love Nolan's Dark Knight universe and think the rest of DC's characters would have trouble translating to screen, but feel like I would've said the same thing about the individual Avenger characters 5 yeas ago, so who knows.

Having written that, gun to my head I think I say Marvel.

Nice. I grew up as a HUGE Marvel comics junkie. I was hooked on the Hulk, Spiderman, Avengers, Fantastic Four and all of the X-Books. I even dug some of the more obscure titles of that time period like The Defenders (remember them?), Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Powerman & Iron Fist series.

I probably drove my parents crazy begging for trips to the comic book store.

Skip around the MMA Hour if there are interesting guests and my latest addition has been IGN's comics podcast, IGN Assemble. It's a cool weekly wrap up.

I find myself listening to them when on the train/waiting for the train or cleaning. When I used to have to drive everywhere, it was good for the car when I wasn't in a mood for music, which isn't very common, but an entertaining alternative. I've found if I get really hungover it can be comforting to lay around doing nothing and learning something with the remaining braincells.
I just got around to checking out the Joe Rogan Experience and it is fantastic.

Duncan Trussell Family Hour has been my new shit. It's like JRE but not nearly as long and less rambling. Smart dude, funny comedian.

I checked out the Duncan Trussell show and I enjoyed it.
Both he and Rogan are so, so high... but it's very entertaining.
