Serious Answer: North Carolina's own Chris Hughes. Or if Hughes counts as a politician to you guys, then Greg Graffin. Google them both, you'll learn something.

Not so serious answer: Katy Perry. What better way to create allies than have a President that will sleep with you just to get a treaty signed? And she'd have less time to create awful music, too!

    they sound SO famous

my pick is Dave Chappelle. He's intelligent and he turned down 50 million dollars on principle from Comedy Central, moved to Africa to see what his people were dealing with, and probably fits all the legal criteria

Not that being a Ivy League Ph.D and Professor while simultaneously fronting a very successful rock band and being an author makes you famous.

And who cares about co-founding Facebook and being the guy Obama credits with getting him elected?

You're right, that's not what fame is. Fame is people knowing who you are, and as I don't know/care who they are, they aren't famous.

Brett is awesome, but Greg is smarter and more capable of leading a country. But anyone in that band would be suitable, really.

@captaincrunk gee, that's such a great attitude to have. Seeing as how both are well-known to many, that makes them famous. The difference between you and I is if I don't know who someone is, I look it up and try to widen my understanding of society...that's called educating yourself. Try it sometime.

You see, I was making claims about fame. You? You're just trying to insult me.

You said if you don't know who they are, they aren't famous. Even though there's a high number of people who DO know who they are. That's somewhere between arrogance and ignorance.

Are you so foolish as to think that fame is something that only includes a singular threshold?
