That ”rumor” has been confirmed for about a year now for anyone who cares to follow the bobcats on a semi regular basis. Media must be really scrounging for some traffic. Some nincompoop over at ESPN even did a ”Hey the bobcats suck” story recently.
surprised there is not a thread yet to discuss this or maybe I'm missing it but rumor is that MJ is handing the reigns over to Rich Cho. Not much news but media beginning to make a big deal of it.

Yeah, this story is a bit old . It's curious as to why ESPN felt the need to write an article about it now. This plan was set in motion the day Cho was hired. Jordan didn't bring him on board just to then turn around and meddle in his business; likewise, Cho wouldn't stick around for that, either.
probs been a slow news week... When Dominic McGuire signing for the Raptors is big news you can guess the press are outta ideas and rumours.
In Cho we trust
Maybe their source is Bonnell...that would explain the time line![]()

its so disingenuous for the media to pretend like MJ has been such a total disaster as an owner that he is comparable to Shinn and Johnson in only 2 years. Everyone knew that team would need to be rebuilt from the ground up and he did it swiftly. A real disaster would be watching Crash and Jack trying to drag this team to the 7th/8th seed again because MJs ego wouldnt let him deal with losing
The company line is "If it's negative, it's MJ. If it's positive, it's someone else"
Unfortunately, we're just going to have to deal with that realization
