Can a team hit a wall any worse than we did last year? Run the hell out of them, we're not going to be a playoff team anyways so might as well get them prepared for the future, in every facet. You don't gradually build up that kind of endurance without losing at the end of your season.

I think Dunlap would have contatced all the players when he was appointed head coach and said he wants everyone to be in top shape for the new season. I mean the amount of money these players get they should always be in good shape.

Of course he contacted them. But trying prep for it on your own and doing it for the first time with a team over 82 games at that speed is very different. And i would be willing to bet that most of them went and got in basketball shape when dunlap wants them in track meet shape! lol.

i think Dunlap would have explained that he wanted players to be in track shape becasue of the style of basketball we will be playing
