Will there be an online steam for this one? I'd love to watch it.
the new season is here !
Im looking foward to see how we play against the Wizards who are very high tempo team which is what i expect from our new look roster. It will be interesting to see who Dunlap starts at each position becasue there are many players who could start at every spot.
I would go for:
Kemba
Hendo
MKG
Mullens
Biyombo
All of our players will get several minutes in this pre season game and im looking foward to see how Dunlap's stratergy unfolds on the court.

Not televised... I've already checked the websites I use and it's not listed. Looks like its time to watch the play by play!

I've seen a stream on firstrowsports, not sure how they're gonna stream it or whether its even being streamed but the links there.
In Cho we trust
Why JT less than 2 minutes played? Why Haywood so many minutes and Biz so few? Why Sessions more mins than Kemba? Only judging by boxscore and watching play by play in the 4th but don't understand what Dunlap was doing with his substitutions in the 4th? But really, Haywood 10 more mins than Biz?!?!
Mullens with big 3s late in 4th, plus solid rebounds. MKGs line was solid. Junior looked like he brought it. Kemba's line looked solid too. But Tyrus? Wow. Good show in the new digs!
"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13
He says he is going to try different line ups and things in different games. I think it might be good for those good for JT and Biz to watch and learn a little bit first anyway

yea, but 2 mins? It's not like he's a 19yr old rookie or something. It's the Preseason. I wonder if he angered Coach Dunlap.
Haywood started the game and play a good bit before Biz ever saw the court. One thing Haywood is very productive with is his mouth, he shouts out everything (can be heard in the upper deck) that he sees which I'm sure is a big help to his young teammates. Looking at the stat line, Haywood's numbers are awful, but he does add intangible items to the mix. Additionally, as you mentioned the lineup/substitutions used were 'different: at one point in the 4th quarter the lineup was Kemba, Gordon, Hendo, MKG and Haywood, not sure who the "PF" is in that lineup, but it was certainly producing problems for WAS when we had the ball.
Hendo's general confidence seems to be higher, especially on his jumper, 3pt shot and handling the ball in transistion (Hendo rebounded the ball and started the break himself on at least 3 occasions in the the 2nd half. MKG's outside shot is still hard to watch, but he is so effective and efficient in producing scoring opportunities for himself and others (8 points on 3 shot attempts in the 1st half..2nd half not so much).
Other observations:
Gordon is going to be a really good scorer for the Cats, with the penetrating nature of our Guards/Fowards Gordon is ideal.
Biz's arms are huge compared to last year
Sessions is a good compliment to Kemba
Biz disrupted more shots than can be seen in the box score, and he's still passionate (was fighting for a jump ball way past the whistle being blown).
Tyrus reminds me of last year's Tyrus-still shooting jump shots, but at least this year he drives 5 feet closer and draws fouls (6 FT attempts to 2 FG attempts)
We need to improve our FT percentage (we missed 15 today)
We need to improve our 3pt % (3 of 11 in the second half)
Big Pat's microphone seems to have been turned down a bit (not as loud)
Dell Curry was sitting at the scorer's table taking notes despite no TV for this game (basketball junkie?)
MJ sat in his suite the entire game, which was nice to see.
Dunlap was standing in the corner of the court for much of the game, that allowed him to be as close as possible when the players were at the Cats end of the court (knowing Dunlap he probably scouted which lanes the refs run, and found the optimal spot).
The Cats 212...Own Tomorrow logo was still up in the Cats tunnel (the DNC must have covered that wall up, supposedly they removed everything with bobcats on it).
The new 'hostess' during timeouts, named Gwen needs some practice, she didn't talk into the microphone at times, but it's preseason for them too.
