MKG .. Gerald Wallace... and our future

If MKG doesn't turn out to be a much better player than Crash I'll be pretty disappointed. Love Crash, but a one-time All-Star shouldn't be comparable to a #2 overall pick.

Speaking of Crash, did anyone read this?

Does that surprise anyone? He thought Charlotte was too big to live in during the summer...I was surprised he re-signed with the Nets (even for that much cash) for this very reason...I can't see him spending any more time in the Big Apple than he is required to.

Whatever your views on Crash or MKG, it was pretty clear that we weren't going anywhere but first round exits at best with a team built around Crash. The rebuild strategy was the way to go IMO. Now whether we are drafting well enough to make the best of this rebuild remains to be seen, I personally give us a B+ considering our draft luck.

MKG might be the best player we have ever drafted, he has all the weapons to be effective on both ends of the court and he has great work ehtic !
