Is it bad I thought gm in training was trolling before I realized he was serious?

Dude, you're in training to be that lunatic on the sidewalk screaming about how 9/11 was a hoax and Elvis lives in Cleveland and the NBA lottery is fixed.

There's reality, there's being disillusioned by hope, there's insanity, and then there's whatever spatial cacophony of morons you occupy.

I don't mean to be so blunt, but I cannot fathom how you think the way you do.

except it isn't give or take. it is 1.75 exactly. normally, i would let this stuff go but you come on here instigating and talking a bunch of ying yang like you are some wise sage who knows so much about basketball and talent evaluation. if you are going to bring it like that, your argument needs to be super tight and 100% accurate.

Mavericks--they just brought OJ Mayo in and have given him the starting job. No.

    Knicks--Shumpert. No.

    Bulls--Yes.

    Cavs--Waiters. No

Grizzlies--Tony Allen is vital to that team's success. No.

Jazz--Alec Burks and/or Gordon Hayward. No.

    Clippers--Chauncey Billups. No.

Celtics--Avery Bradley, Courtney Lee, and/or Jason Terry. No.

Suns--They just brought in Wesley Johnson, so they seem to be somewhat interested in playing him. I'll give you a maybe.

    Blazers--Wesley Matthews. No.

In other words, he could definitely start for the Bulls, and maybe for the Suns or Hawks. You need a lot more training
you are right but just for the sake of argument, if money or recent contract were not an issue and it was purely on talent:

    hawks: maybe
    mavs: no
knicks: without injury hell no, with injury maybe
    cavs: maybe
    griz: hell no
    jazz: hell no
    clips: no
    celtics: absolutely positively hell no
    suns: yes
    blazers: hell no

Can't belive the tone of some of our best most loyal members and mods resorting to name calling . Just because some one is standing up for one of our players , right or wrong. Hes sticking up for our player , the team i love the city i love and the organisation.

Henderson is a bobcat , hes one of the bobcats best players [LIKE IT OR NOT] and me i take pride in my team and its players win or lose. So yes i want and hope and expect him to kick ass ever time he steps on the floor .
Im done on this thread bash the hell out of me to if you want .

    Thanks Ammofan!

I blame it mostly on Sweed hanging out at RealGM too much.

Seriously, it's not like we don't like Hendo and I imagine we all want him to become what GIT is saying he already is. There is a distinct difference between the two tho, so when someone is SO determined to pound it into everyone that he is really something we know he isn't eventually you're going to get reactions...and the more it goes on the harsher the reactions are going to get.

Really Dav, by GIT putting up a thread saying "I TOLD YOU SO" after one preseason game you know it had to go downhill. I don't think the regulars can be faulted and in fact the blame (if there is "blame") has to be laid at the OP's feet.

I "live" here almost solely because we don't homerishly bash one player over the other. For the most part we're all pretty optimistic about most all our guys, which IMO is how we should be as supporters and fans.

This thread is different though. If you think about it I imagine you'll see why.
Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker

While it's certainly our "role" as fans to support the players 100%, I think a line needs to be drawn between optimism and homerism and adding a bit of realism into our kool-aid is a great idea.

Don't have to be blind to be a fan.

I understand what you saying . I guess i just set a really high standered , knowing how much basketball knowledge you guys have and use while understanding less knowlegable members. Taking into consideration members with less knowledge such as me .
Though i belive sometimes statements from less knowledgable members is and are not taken into consideration , thair for those statements is and are not even considered a possability.
    For example
Ever comparison GMT used in shooting guards was disguarded . Though i disagreeded with about half of his comparisons . I could see merit in the other half. I do disagree with the[ i told you so thing] period USED. STILL i love the fact hes standing up for MY team and the players thet represent the city of Charlotte . And even if hes is compleatly off base one still has to respect his passion for this team .

i will take it a step further. i am 100% fine with kool-aid drinkers and think there is a place for them on a fan site. to me they offer a unique perspective, albeit a little to innocent in a sense of an 8 year old is innocent to real life. but where i felt the need to jump in (4 pages into it) was when the OP asserts arrogance and a tone of "i told you so" when he is factually incorrect. the OP is well-known for these posts and writes them to get precisely the reaction he/she got in response to the more preposterous aspects of the OP. as far as i am concerned, no comments have gone any further than the tone and contents of the first post in the thread.
