I understand what you saying . I guess i just set a really high standered , knowing how much basketball knowledge you guys have and use while understanding less knowlegable members. Taking into consideration members with less knowledge such as me .
Though i belive sometimes statements from less knowledgable members is and are not taken into consideration , thair for those statements is and are not even considered a possability.
For example
Ever comparison GMT used in shooting guards was disguarded . Though i disagreeded with about half of his comparisons . I could see merit in the other half. I do disagree with the[ i told you so thing] period USED. STILL i love the fact hes standing up for MY team and the players thet represent the city of Charlotte . And even if hes is compleatly off base one still has to respect his passion for this team .

Basically when you start out like this thread has then it's almost impossible to get a legit argument...even if the posts afterward do make any semblance of sense.

Like I said earlier though; I'd MUCH rather have this thread than a "HENDERSON IS A PIECE OF CRAP & ISN"T WORTH A LATE 2nd"...so I do kind of get where you're coming from in that last paragraph.

While it's certainly our "role" as fans to support the players 100%, I think a line needs to be drawn between optimism and homerism and adding a bit of realism into our kool-aid is a great idea.

Though some fans hasn't been around basketball and know the game as well as you do . Some fans don't have a college degree, can't read write or spell as well . Does that make them a homer . Does that mean your statements is the only ones thets right . Does that mean we should just read post and never disagree because if we disagree we are considered homers. That whole statement just shows a seperior attitude. IM done with this thread befor it gets way out of control.

he has the ability to be a great all round player in the NBA, he has showed what he can do in parts and i think its only a matter of time before he performs night in night out.

i stated that hendo could start on cleveland and some members said no and maybe .i stated waiters isn't starting anyway and plus he's been horrible in all the d-lg gms and preseason games, but of course only a diehard nba fan would of known that ,so to list waiters even as the starter was getting was alittle odd. but i hate to say i told you so and its so ironic that hoopsworld just put up a article in regards to waiters , stating that he was benched and and he is currently being outplayed by cj miles who gerald henderson is clearly better than .

imma let everyone know something about me, last year i was in cbs fantasy lg and i won 6-7 lgs ,so im not talking because i think its fun. im actual knowledgeable . i stated that hendo's assist numbers will increase this year and so far this preseason he is avg real good assist #'s. please don't say its just preseason because preseason determines starting line-ups and rotations.

the only thing i dnt like about hendo is that i dnt think he takes enough shots but as the season progress's i think that will change

i could break down every team hendo could start for or how good hendo really is but imma wait till the season starts, ,so my theories count.. i can admit i may be wrong about kemba , he is playing really well , i just felt that kemba's sg mentality wasn't suitable to start but it looks like he's actual converging .

i may not be right all the time but im leaning more towards rite than most .

except it isn't give or take. it is 1.75 exactly. normally, i would let this stuff go but you come on here instigating and talking a bunch of ying yang like you are some wise sage who knows so much about basketball and talent evaluation. if you are going to bring it like that, your argument needs to be super tight and 100% accurate.

whether you feel if im 100% accurate or if i was super tight is your opinion. i stated give or take because shooting 3-5 vs 2-5 vs 1-5 ,percentage wise is a big difference and percentages fluctuate so once again "give or take"

Alrighty lad. As I said in my previous post, this is pre-season. TBH pre-season is when every coach experiments, tries new lineups and bloods the young ones. You don't see guys like Kobe or Melo playing their standard 33~ minutes a night, no you see them play 15-20. Pre-season isn't as tough as the regular season, it's simply a warm up. To some extend yes it does determine starting line-ups and rotations, but do they fully determine it? No.
The problem is that after 1 pre-season game you already stated that Hendo looks like a top 20 player. Which is why I wrote in my earlier post it's only pre-season and we have to watch at minimum half the season to see how he goes.

Have they started negotiations regarding Hendo's contract extension? If so, is there a reliable source that discuss the price range expected?
