I'd almost bet real money that's what will happen.

Fan no doubt they've broached the subject, but it makes no sense for us to overpay...so most likely our initial offer will be on the low side. Just makes business sense. Sometimes it comes out how much we offer (usually by the player's agent), but I wouldn't count on us finding out.

    For example
Ever comparison GMT used in shooting guards was disguarded . Though i disagreeded with about half of his comparisons . I could see merit in the other half. I do disagree with the[ i told you so thing] period USED. STILL i love the fact hes standing up for MY team and the players thet represent the city of Charlotte . And even if hes is compleatly off base one still has to respect his passion for this team .
dav: I know you're through with this thread and will probably never see this but you're such a veteran, well-respected member here I just want you to understand this has nothing to do with GMT's poor spelling and grammar or even his unwavering love of Junior. It's like Chef said in post 50, it's his attitude of superiority and arrogance that has upset many of us and caused the backlash, deserved, I think. Maybe Swedd and teej went over the line (I don't think so at all, personally) but GMT's antagonistic, arrogant attitude in this thread needed to be addressed.

And about basketball knowledge, you've got plenty. We've sat and watched a game together so I know first-hand that you know your stuff, not just Xs and Os but about talent and player personnel. And you agreed that Junior is, like Swedd said, our first or second option by default and not because he is a true first or second option in the league.

I think it's great you would stick up for BCP members if you feel they've been unfairly treated and I hope you always do so if you think it's happening...that's an amazing thing for a fansite to have and shows the great, unique brotherhood we have here at BCP. I just ask you to go back and read GMT's post that began this thread and notice the arrogant and antagonistic manner he speaks in. It's less about opinion than it is attitude and tact.

This is what your post would look like if you didn't mash the keyboard like the muppet Animal. You know, just for the record.

Hendo is a reliable 3 pt shot from being a Raja Bell type player. His ceiling is getting lower and lower. I'm kind of surprised that he hasn't been used as a trade kicker yet. The funny thing is, I thought he should have been spoon fed the ball last year and given easily the biggest volume of shots. I still think he should but with BG and Mully gunning for bigger pieces of the volume pie I doubt he will.

gm-in-training reminds me of our grizzled vet in Dav in the way they post.
But just because they type badly doesn't mean you don't read what they say.
I sure as hell read through Dav's posts carefully cos he knows his shit.
gm-in-training might not have the same knowledge as Dav, but if we paid attention to how people post instead of the content, a lot of good things or opinions that are brought up might not be said.
Yes it's far easier to read what others write, but it's also worth it to read the less articulates on our board, yes it might be a tad ugly but they also have a right to post and express their opinion/discussion.
Me for instance, I pretty much press enter after every line. I hate paragraphs for some reason and I think it's easier for others to read, unless I'm really going at it.

BrotherDave, get off your high horse son.
gm-in-training, you need to change your attitude. It's fine for others to have a different opinion to you, but don't write them off or say things like 'try again' or whatever. You contribute to this board which is awesome, you love discussing things, but also remember to respect others opinions and if possible, back up your arguments with facts.

Hendo did get spoon fed the ball, he just decided to give up the ball a lot of times because he didn't think he could create a shot. Mully/BG are volume scorers, I would hope for better numbers from Hendo but don't expect it considering how well those two can score.

i, for one, could give a hairy rat's ass how people spell or structure their sentences. dav contributes meaningful posts this board. gmit continues to write the same thing over and over and gets more arrogant with each post. but even still, like tupac said i aint mad at ya, i enjoy the banter. plus, everytime you double down on your current hypothesis, you show how far removed from reality your point is.

biggest volume of shots? no commas . im in a forum to listen and voice my opinions . if i knew i was being graded for grammar , i definitely could of been an ass and corrected ppl , but i understand that we are not here for that . also, who really cares in a sports forum?
