Why is it seen as being disrespectful? Its part of the new culture. Its going to take harder work to get part the stigma of a 7 win season.

sent from the pseudo GM offices of the Charlotte Bobcats.

I don't think he will continue practices that long . He just knows everbody has to be in top shape and bring thair A game in ordor have a chance at a win. I all so think Dunlap is in this trying to devolope talent. I think thats why we will see more of a college style of coaching . Belive me if TT wants playing time hes going to have to earn it . Nothing is going to be free for any of thease guys . If you don't bust your ass and give 100% i belive hes not going to waste time,He will just set your tail on the pine.
Effort is what i think hes going to be looking for more than any thing else this season.

    Thanks Ammofan!

I definitely love the guy...he's what I'd hoped we were getting when we brought in LB. A teacher with insane drive.

I think this is one of the main points. Last year, there were a lot of games we could have stolen simply through effort b/c opponents didn't bring their A game since they were playing the Lolcats. The Orlando game we won for example is a game we stole in that fashion. Dunlap wants to steal as many wins as possible just by virtue of being competitive. Thank god if this works out, will make the season much more palatable.

I expect a lot of teams coming into TWC this season will bring a B effort at best. Those are the teams we have a shot beat. Like you said thats the games Dunlap expects to win with A+ effort. Yes players in top shape comeing at you for a full 48 mins can catch you off guard. I wouldn't be suprized 2 see 10 players averging 20 mins per . With tons of ball pressure.

    Thanks Ammofan!

I just am glad there is new life for the Bobcats and that the new coach brings a high intensity take no prisoners approach to coaching. I think Dunlap's drive will only inspire optimum effort on most nights. That is something we did not see with the last coach and only half the time with Larry Brown. Dunlap brings a play the right way mentality like LB but he also seems to be more of a players coach. The kind of guy that will give praise where it is needed and will not destroy those who make mistakes in the process of learning. I am sure he will make everyone accountable but he will not be a horses ass in doing so.

Thanks for the welcome. I am actually a long time member under BobCatsFanInNETx.

I just decided to start over brand new.

I hope our Bobcats can win at least 20+ games.

My new screen name is a reflection of not knowing if the team will ever be renamed to the Hornets or any other name. I will give in a couple of seasons to see what happens before I decide whether to change the name or not.

could've asked for a name change instead of making a brand new one
