I fucking hate that guy. Most of the Pistons' fans are tolerable but that guy is the biggest toolbag.

Yeah, I agree with this. But I have an uneasy feeling that they might be placeholders until a god-tier PG prospect comes down the draft pipe. Hope not, really want Kemba to succeed, he's just got to fix that J.

This is Ramon's 6th season, so that should say something if he and Kemba are close (which I agree isn't far off)...esp. after the trainwreck Kemba had to deal with last year.

For the record I like Ramon and I wanted to trade for him last year once we moved DJ. I just see him as a very solid backup PG. Kemba might not amount to anything more...but there can be no doubt where there's more potential to go beyond that.

    My thoughts exactly.
"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13

Geez, I hope Higgins doesn't make the team. Or am I missing something? Is he already signed to an unguaranteed deal?

Here are the stats through 3 games.......

    Kemba: 21.7 min 8.3pts reb 2 ast 2.7 stl 1.3 turn 1.0 Fg% 50.0 3pt% 20.0

    Sessions: 26.3 min 10.3 pts 4.3 reb 4.3 ast stl 0.7 turn 4.0 Fg% 37.9 3pt 20.0

Walker is shooting 50% and only 1 turnover per game. Sessions is shooting 37% and averaging 4 turnovers per game. I would go with Kemba, he's the future.

There's a lot to that last part. From the one home preseason game a little while ago, Kemba's shot selection definitely stuck out to me. It was markedly different from last year (due in large part because there is an actual offensive system and more talented players to take part in it); he definitely was looking to get things going first and taking more "reasonable" shots, if that makes sense.

Sessions pushed the ball a lot, which will do well for Dunlap's system. He does have the tendency to get out of control at times, though. I believe he's a rock-solid backup PG though. I think Kemba should be given the keys and allowed to learn, as I think he can be more than a career backup PG. Sessions will push him, which is good; competition for playing time isn't really a bad thing, but I think Kemba needs to prove he's not the starting PG before Sessions proves he is.
