this puts me back as a switcher come feb. assuming the cats will be shown in the triangle again. the only questions, does amc still not show fx and amc in HD?

I'll double check when I get home but I'm pretty certain both those are in HD. I know FX is.

Chef, both AMC and FX are in glorious HD.

I am happy to get AMC back...lots of good stuff on there.

DISH picked the perfect time to bring AMC back too as they are great at running the old horror classics in the run up to October 31st. Tonight is the original Halloween. Michael Meyers is one scary dude.

The Bobcats have always had a marketing challenge, in part because of problems related to television distribution. Founding owner Bob Johnson started C-SET, a regional sports network that lasted just the team’s first season. The TV rights then transferred to Time Warner Cable and eventually to SportSouth. SportSouth asked television providers to pay a surcharge to carry Bobcats games that discouraged widespread distribution.
Isn't that like the first time ever anyone has admitted to that? Remember how we were told that it was on us to get the providers to carry the games? Thank goodness they abandoned that corporate line.

Bobcats research shows about 24 percent of their individual-game ticket sales last season came from outside a 75-mile radius of Charlotte.
Interesting to me...didn't realize it was that high. Expanding the coverage like they've been doing should grow that even more.
