TT had a very solid game if he could play like that on a nightly basis. We could be very competive. Hondo played like crap but didn't pull a Gordon 4 for 15 freaking shots. Mkg Seems very timid so far . Hes got to get more involved to have any production at the small foward position.Sessions made Kemba look really bad according to the numbers , Smack doesn;t look as if hes inproved . Might even say he regressed a little . 2 boards and no blockks is not going to cut it. Drumond looked much futher ahead .

With preseason about over i don't see no clear cut starter in any position , mabe MKG because of lack of compitition.

If you think Sessions clearly outplayed Kemba then it's pretty obvious that you're only looking at the boxscore. Sessions probably had his best game in a Bobcats uniform tonight, but Kemba almost single-handedly brought the team back to tie it up in the 4th quarter through offensive and defensive contributions.

Henderson was invisible and horrible at the same time, if that makes sense. For a guy that's supposed to be the best player on the team, 4 points on 1 of 6 shooting and nothing much else to boot but a -19 in 22 minutes isn't going to cut it.

On the bright side, Tyrus had a productive game with 14 points and 16 rebounds tonight. I hope he can beat out Mullens for the starting PF spot. I prefer Mullens' instant offense off the bench until he show that he want to do something else on the floor besides score.

REALLY?!? Or I just might have watched the entire preseason and last year in its entirety... Not to mention probably more Bball than you have been alive for.
If was was ONLY looking at the box score from tonight I would STILL see that clearly Sessions is the better player in LESS time on the floor.

As far as Hendo goes, he IS the best All AROUND player on this team. That might change soon but to think/imply otherwise is just wrong.

@ Stu Discus, I don't know how much basketball you may have watched throughout your life and I'm not here to discuss that, but I do know that there's two ends of the court in which you must play. Unfortunately for Kemba, solid defense & hustle doesn't show up in the box score like missed field goal attempts do. I'm not trying to write off Sessions decent game either. I like both players. I'm just not the type to ridicule a player that puts forth as much effort as Kemba does, especially not so early in his career. Struggles are expected within the first 3 years of any player's career. Any young player that avoid that wall is the exception, not the rule.

Aren't we shooting like 65% FTs for the preseason? I'm going to kill myself if that keeps up.

The stream and this old computer gave me fits all night so I wasn't much better off than when I was going by audio and gamecast in regards to actual play by the individuals. All I can hope for is that coach is still experimenting and we're better than it appears. On the bright side we did come back and make a game of it and it seemed our defense had a lot to do with it.

I remember one particular play where Sessions immediately pulled up for a long 3 and bricked it. Didn't look to set up a play, wasn't particularly wide open nor was it a heat check of any sort, just a point blank wasted possession early in the shot clock. If that was Kemba heads would have rolled. I guess Sessions gets some slack being the new guy (and preseason) but plays like that seemed to indicate that Kemba was the better playmaker last night.

    Kemba played 28mins,was 4 for15 % 6for9 ft% 4assist 1 steal 4tos and 1for4 3point shooting and was a - 6 while on the court
    Sessions played20mins , was4 for9% 5fo6 ft% 6assist 1 steal,0 tos and 0 for1 3pointshooting and was a +5 while on the court
Thease numbers clearly showed Sessions had a much better game , Agreeded its still preseason. But i see no clear cut starter at point. The same could be said between Hendo and Gordon nothing cut and dry thair either. Mully looks to start at the 4 position but TT made a case for his self this game,. Haywood looks to be the starter at center with the subpar start from Smack. MKG looks to be the ony player locked in at starting [only by defalt ] JT has played about as well and thats not saying much.

Boxscores say a lot, but they don't say everything. They don't include Kemba's part in the run the Bobcats made in the 4th quarter and they don't say who was on the floor along with them; remember, Kemba played most of his time against Detroit's starting 5, while Sessions was matched up against their bench.
