only if Dunlap keeps the same strategy of switching the starting lineup every night and ridiculous subbing patterns, which i doubt he will. I think after tonight he will have enough info to build our rotation

I am sure that the subbing in the pre season is Dunlap's experimenting with different combinations. I would expect it to smooth out when the season starts.

Did people think we wouldn't be atrocious or something?

It's one thing to be bad...another to be bad and not improve. To do that they have to have the tools.

What about Blair? Weren't the Spurs looking to move him?

We improved our outlook and overall attitude in the organization from top to bottom in under two years. I know that's not enough for some people, but I couldn't be happier to know what the team finally has a goal AND a plan for once.

As for the personnel, everyone that has a possibility of being around next year looks like they'll be improving a great deal over the course of the season.

The biggest thing for me though is that the team finally won't be painful to watch or in firesale mode. I can actually enjoy a game this year.

This. I will never understand why some Bobcats' fans knock Kemba for trying when nobody else on the team is showing a sense of urgency. I admit, sometimes he tries too hard, but I love his courage to try. The kid just want to win. He's too young, dumb, and naive to believe that his current team is as bad as they really are.

I'm with you on of that Dy, but in the overall scheme of things I think that for us to succeed it's imperative that guys get better and just as importantly see themselves get better. Having the option of a guy inside you can dump it to for the opposing team to put some defensive focus on is HUGE and esp. for the guards...else they'll be shooting desperation perimeter shots. We saw a lot of that last year and we'll most likely see it this year if we don't try and fill that void.

This is was a big contributor to Kemba having hat 36% overall FG%, DJ having like 38% and so on. It wears on the guys over time and eventually the fight will start to get old to them.

I've been wondering if we'd make a run at him, too. He'd help tremendously in the rebounding department. I'd bet we're waiting first to see who's waived since I'm sure we have priority on the waiver wire. If not, getting Blair for a reasonable price would be a good move, I think.

Yeah waiver wire or Blair would be good for us, just someone else who can do the dirty stuff that we can stick next to Mullens. Yeah, I have been a bit dissapointed with pre season, mainly because what I have seen from our rookies... or what I havent seen.
