he just pops up out of nowhere to get the offensive rebounds !, awsome effort and tenactity !
I was thinking this throughout the game but then I think matchups and a need for scoring dictated we have Sessions/Kemba/Gordo at the 2 guard spots, and the way Junior was rolling on both ends in the 2nd half, he had to be at 3. Plus it was a treat to watch him go crazy on the bench supporting his mates.
I'm with you Vet (talk about no life, I was cursing myself on the drive home for not taping the game so I could rewatch it from the broadcast perspective) with MKG. Easily could've gone to the FT line 2 or 3 times on his drives but I just chalked those up to rookie calls. And yeah, he's amazing. In his limited time he absolutely affected the game positively. I'm already wishing I had followed through on my hunch and voted for him as our leading rebounder in that poll. I love him!

I agree, I think after it was obvious that the refs were giving MKG the royal rookie treatment Dunlap rolled with some vets in the 2nd half to chase the win.
I hope the whistle swallowing isn't a recurring theme for MKG otherwise we probably won't see him much in close games since driving hard to the basket looks to be the only way he can score consistently.
i think he will average 6/7 free throws a game this season which would give him 5 points from the line and i can see him getting a few baskets with layups and driving to the basket. Im confident of him averaging 10 PPG this season

I was surprised Dunlap didn't put him in the game on the last defensive play of the game where we needed a stop.
nice game tonight, with Hendo already gimped MKG should be getting 30 mins at least
MKG had a great game tonight!
I said it once, then twice, and I'll say it again for the third & forth time, MKG cannot flourish with Henderson on the floor. Henderson is hindering MKG. From now on I will call Henderson "HINDERson". MKG need perimeter shooters on the court to complement his style of play in which will open up his slashing ability. I did the math, through the first 2 games of the season MKG has only 2 points on 1 for 8 shooting with 0 free throw attempts in the 30 minutes when Hinderson is on the court with him, and 12 points on 4 for 7 shooting with 7 free throw attempts (only 4 made) in the 17 minutes when Hinderson is on the bench.
