i am really dissapointed with the fact that MKG is having issues with his foul trouble...he played a good game last night but with his foul trouble he was only able to play 22 minutes...its going to be hard for him to grow as a player when he his having his playing time interupted by commiting stupid fouls and having to go to the bench...not only is it limiting him to less playing time but the playing time he is getting isnt quality PT bc its hard to get into a playing rhythm when you are in foul trouble...but the encouraging thing is that even with his foul trouble last night and only playing 22 minutes he was still able to put up 12 points / 8 rbds a block and a steal...i think its safe to say that if he wasnt in foul trouble and was able to get 30-35 minutes last night that we could have easily put up 20 points and 10 rbds....im very confident that MKG is a player and that we made a great pick by taking him ..the only real downside i have seen is him being too aggressive sometimes and comitting stupid fouls ...this is prob due to the fact that he is 19 years old and he is a smart guy so im sure he will correct this problem as time goes on

not picking on you. but if you want me (and i suspect others) to read your complete posts you are going to have to break these things up.

try this: every third time you use a ... hit return twice.

There's nothing wrong with the length of your posts. You make some quality points and I (along with others I'm sure) enjoy reading them. It would just be easier if you spaced it out better so that everything isn't jumbled together.

Like this. Put a line or two after you make a couple points. That makes it so much easier to read and comprehend. But I like your posts. Just need more spacing.

These last two games have been pretty poorly officiated in general... Yes, MKG picked up some cheap fouls but what I noticed was that only refs make him act like a rookie. In the game before last, when he got into foul trouble he started trying to take guys off the dribble and other uncharacteristic stuff. He's typically very composed and plays within himself but when the refs give him a hard time, he does a lousy job of handling it.

Kinda hope he gets that he'sagooddefenderlethimgetawaywithmorestuff stigma soon once the memo gets out that he's one of the best wing defenders in the league

It seems to me alot of his fouls are coming from reach in fouls where he's trying to strip the ball. So far when he comits to a block he seems to do a good job of avoiding body contact and completing the play.

I was glad to see Coach let him keep playing even after he picked up his 4th foul, at least for a little while. To get more PT he's gonna have to learn how to play through things like that. The what not to do, or how to avoid the intended contact from the opposing player will be crucial for his growth as a defensive specialist.

I am thrilled with Kidd-Gilchrist thus far, although I do think he needs to have more confidence in his midrange game. Even though his shot is painful to watch I believe he can knock down a solid 15 footer with consistency, and thats what he is going to have to do eventually as tonight Dunleavy played way, way off of him and played solely for the drive. While he was still able to blow by Dunleavy with ease, that won't happen with SF's who actually have athleticism. Knock down that little mid range jumper and it will open up everything even more for him.

Great rebounder, good defender, tremendous at driving to the rim. Hell, can't ask much more for a 19 year old rookie who is the youngest player in the league and has a phenomenal work ethic. Sky is the limit for the kid.
