Got to the basket, just didn't get calls. That's expected. He hustled his ass off, and played great D. He will improve vastly in the first month of the season, guaranteed.

For someone with that is pegged for having such a work ethic, he hasnt really worked to change his awful form on his jumpshot. Cant stand seeing that hitch.

Nope. Think he will be a great glue guy and is a big asset to our team.

I like to bring out every issue, ie everyone is ridding his jock and not pointing out things he can improve or just any concerns one might have with MKG.

You mentioned his work ethic, well people with a hard work ethic generally work hard and improve issues with their game. Dribbling, shooting, turnovers, ect.

MKG has had the same hitch in his shot for years that people have been telling him he needs to fix.

Ive got no doubt in my mind that he will improve his jump shot over time

I agree i even remember reading how Dunlap has spend hours specifically with him on that jumpshot form. Said he was extremely receptive in changing it..blah blah blah...Maybe his insistence on the hitch maybe a factor in his lack of PT? idk

He needs to be on the floor instead of Tyrus. Yeah he's small and West would power through him, but thats what he did to Tyrus anyway, as will any other power PF we face.

also he got fouled about 3 times that they refused to call. He's gonna be just fine.

shooting form is not a product of work ethic, its a product of coaching at a young age. he probably had some bum coach that didnt fix it when he was a youngster. by the time you get to high school you're too busy with the HS season in winter and AAU ball the rest of the year to do anything about it.

    very happy with his debut

Early on its a product of coaching. But at a certain age you have to realize it isnt working and your form is wrong and study film / tape and fix it with countless hours in a gym.

bro, people like you are the worst, always think players right out the draft are supposed to be complete players lmao. Give him some time man, with work ethic like he has there's no telling what he'll develop. Dude can't become a superstar his first game man, cut 'em some slack.
