I would say I am a critic. Being raised in a basketball family I have always sat around the TV and listen to my criticize and analyze.
I'm between the eternal optimist and glass half full. I'm the "wake up everyday always excited about the Bobcats, excited to read any and everything about them, and cheer your head off every chance you get" part from the eternal optimist. I don't post much at all but I am on this website, realgm, CharlotteObserver, and whatever else I can find at least 3 times a day. I can't get enough of the Cats. I also watch every game with pie *wink wink* no matter how much hw I have (I'm a sophomore at USC) and get picked on by my friends all the time for watching it.
However, I take a realistic approach and know that the team has a long way to go to become contenders, or even average for that matter. Still can't wait for the season to start. I'm going to do everything I possibly can to go to a game again this season. The only game I've ever been to was the whooping the Cats put on Orlando in Charlotte last year.

Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, ‘All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker
"Its okay to be bad; just so long as you're bad ass." - Keetch
In terms of being a fan in life, I'd say optimist, otherwise, what would be the point?
On the board, I'd say I'm glass half full. I take an objective view, but I try to stay focused on how it might work out. I'm usually
trying to find a positive, though critical, view on things.
SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
I'm definitely an optimist when it comes to the Bobcats, though a upbeat realist is probably the best way to describe me. I've been a STH for 7 years now so I've seen a lot of the bad, but almost all of the good (even when it's few and far between). Three times I've been really discouraged by them were just before they locked Ham Biscuit out of the locker room, Larry Brown's last season and from the all-star break forward last year.
There is more loses this year for sure, but the uptempo speed will hopefully draw in some more fans, it's also good to see MJ as engaged as he's ever been.
Yeah, there were some more categories I coulda thrown up there, but they could only have been occupied by one. The "Super Fan" category would've caused such class envy, since by being this ultra cool super fan, all the guys want to be you, and all the girls want to be with you. It would just depress the board too much knowing that nobody else could be that awesome, so I decided it'd be in our best interest to leave it off.
The other category would have been the "Delusions of Grandeur" category, for those that think Hendo is a max player, Tyrus is a superstar, and Mullens is the most versatile player since Shaq.
Yeah, a lil sarcasm, forgot to throw a smiley upI just noticed all the battles you've had with other posters this past season, and how you don't hold back your thoughts, which can be good.
Plus, I loved when you had "the Dude" as your avatar, as every time you had some sarcastic comment, I could just hear his voice talking back to someone in such a chill, not confrontational but smartass way, so how could anyone be mad at that.
I think its good that there is such a breadth of viewpoints - if everyone agreed with each other, this board would become boring pretty quick. I think the main contrasting line in the views is between those that hold out hope and have belief in what a player could become, and those that have to see a player or the team prove it consistently first.
