I think I am an eternal optimist that was brutally curb stomped into glass half empty as a result of last year's 7 win season.
Even though we knew it was going to be bad, Last year was as tough as it gets from a fan perspective.

They already have enough bench fodder in Matt Carroll and DeSagana Diop to allow Cory Higgins to stick around. The fact that the Bobcats have such a incompetent bench is part of the reason why there's such a lack of progress & development lately.
I went from half empty (remember the red lollipop avatar?) to half full with the Cho hire.
If some of these draft picks don't pan out soon though I'm going to fall into the "forever voodoo cursed thru the lifespan of my great grandchildren" choice...which should be on there if we're in the same boat 2-3 years from now.

Fun thread, QC.
I went the 'half-empty' path. I hope and will always hope that things work out for us but I need some evidence, and there hasn't been any (Re: this year's lottery). What, we're going into year 9 of the franchise and we're still fielding expansion-like rosters year after year.
I think Cho knows what he's doing and I hope MJ will give him time to see it through.....but...you know.

Cool thread.
Definitely a critic. I'm the Larry Brown of fans except I prefer to draft well and develop rookies, lol. I have a borderline OCD kind of fanaticism with the draft and roster building. On everything else I just tend to play Devil's Advocate to keep the conversation from getting stagnant. I don't think it's productive when everybody is drinking kool-aid together.
I like to think I'm tough but fair with my expectations though, as long as I see some sort of progress I'm happy. I'm not even bothered by Biz or MKG's lackluster preseason.
Well, so this is actually a pretty good spread of the 4 categories, better than I anticipated. I actually thought most people would be in the Glass Half Full category, but theres only less than half there, so I guess I was at least adequately able to identify different perspectives. I'm sure last seasons pummeling knocked the optimism right out of our bodies.
I think its very interesting how people identify themselves. You can definitely see these characteristics in the posting habits of many folks, and I think I can now kind of understand better where some of you are coming from when you make a point or argument. BrotherDave, I was shocked...no SHOCKED to see you call yourself a critic. Although there are a few Eternal Optimists that I can see didn't vote publicly. But we know your ever-loving souls are out there.
Thanks for voting in the poll, just wanted to know who was a part of my Half Full Posse so we can take over the board!!
Sorry I didn't vote, there was no super fan category
I think I'm still a glass half full type of fan. I holding out hope that we can do it. But the glass is tilting.
