that derozan contract is horrible...and when it comes to henderson i'd wait till the offseason...also depends if we get shabazz....if we do then let hendo walk but hendo shouldn't be getting more than 6 million a year like brotherdave said anything more and you gotta let the guy walk

We should have offered him 5/30.
Even if he never gets better than he is now he is still worth that.
I hated the Afflalo deal at the time but after the Derozan deal the Afflalo deal is a steal.
I think the smart thing to do is trade him... if we are looking at MKG to the part of the future of this team then we HAVE TO have a really talented scoring SG and Henderson just can't be that guy. I like him quite a bit but for us we're gonna need to get lucky in the draft or use a high pick to entice a trade for someone more talented.
You lock him into a 5 year + deal then we are gonna be going right back in that mediocre team and we need a lot more to compete in this division.

I don't think Hendo will give up on us after getting a long contract, that deal would be moveable at anytime and is reasonable.
