Fantastic game. Atmosphere in the arena was surprisingly electric. The mix of a fresh start and discount beers worked its magic, at least in the uppers. Raucous, boisterous...can't remember the last time it felt like that at a Cats game. Kemba was amazing, carrying the team from the tip, and when Junior got on board in the 2nd half that was fun to see. Gordo and Sessions had some big baskets in the 1st and 2nd half respectively when we needed buckets badly.
I couldn't tell what was going on with the defense. Was it matchup zone? The switching was done decent but there was just so much of it that there were way too many holes inside at times. I know it caused its share of headaches for Indy but it also caused some for me.
There couldn't have been a more fitting end to the game. Kemba hawking the ball all over the place, sprinting to close out on DJ, and the net-even-close miss. We chose wisely. A great way to start the season, to start this era for that matter. Hopefully we can look back on this game in a couple years as the beginning of something special.

The intensity plastered over Walker's face eerily reminded me of his heart and passion he showed in college.
