Yeah that's how he made it to the NBA out of the thousands that try. No leadership, drive, or will to be the best you got it...

Didn't bash us as much as I thought he would, but some interesting comments.
I thought he was very reasoned w/ his comments. I think he could have said a lot of negatives (and still might down the road) as to how this organization was running and I still would have thought it fair.

I wish him the best although I never thought it was clear he was the leader we needed in Felton's absence. Great competitor when healthy (and he wasn't always last year), but maybe not the voice of the franchise on the court.

I think DJ Augustine was such a mixed bag that he actually confused everyone. One game he looks like he is an all-star, the next he looks like he is a D-League hopeful then the next four he seems like he is comfy with mediocrity. I think they treated him too good.. the organization made moves seemingly to accommodate him and give him more playing time and make him a focal point. When you play like DJ does, that role changes.. simple as that. Bobcats are better off without him.

I always liked DJ. Have no issues with him leaving for Indy. Not going to disparage him. He played the best he could for Charlotte, and I appreciate all he did for the team. Hated to see him go, but I hope he is happy.

hindsight is a funny thing, when I was new to basketball after we drafted DJ I bet my friend he would become an all star ahead of Jeff Teague... love being wrong :/

But DJ was the first guy we drafted when I was following the team so I will always have some affinity to him, good guy not in the right situation if you ask me.
