I would've loved the Leonard pick, but I was very pro-Kemba too, especially if he keeps progressing as he has shown to be in preseason. But, I was a big Leonard fan. I have serious questions about Smack, and if he doesn't get it going this year, I'll probably go ahead and throw him in the same heap of poo as Ajinca. Needless to say, I would've liked to explore other options than Biyombo but I'm hoping for the best.
Also, extremely discouraging to hear how the players feel about Dunlap. I questioned the hire because I feared players wouldn't respect him, and that kind of falls in line with that... Hopefully, they buy into what he's teaching and see results and then the rest will take care of itself. If not, this is gonna get ugly quick (again).
Glad DJ is happy though, I always rooted for him for reppin' us sub-six footers, lol. Hope he does well in Indy.
Yeah man, those were my guys - Leonard, Kemba, and Faried. Was really disappointed with the Smack pick, then started to see potential and hope, and now I'm back to expecting him to be a bust, sadly... I'm still hoping I'm wrong though.
Biz is so young, and he did have some monster games last year. He is in a learning year, and I think his stats will not be great, but I think he will develop into a smarter player and loose some of the bad habits he picked up last year. He needs to keep improving his help defense so we can play him with Mullens more and stretch the floor and give biz some space inside to do his thing.
