Anyone Going To The Game Tonight?

Can't wait to watch the game (i hope there's a stream). I know Jeffery and all the players are ready to get the season underway. They've been working on some new pre-game rituals i hear.

Someone asked about Jeffery's playing time and why Dunlap hasn't given him many minutes so far - Jeffery and coach have talked. Right now, everyone on the team is fighting for minutes, and no positions are set in stone as far as who starts and who plays big minutes. So things could change on any given night. But coach understands how young Jeffery is and the importance on developing his NBA game correctly. I cant fault him for holding back Jeffery to give him time to properly develop. Jeffery is just determined to go hard at practice and knows that hard work will eventually result in minutes this season. He's got a good relationship right now with Coach Brunson too, but knows he needs to get a better feel for the speed of the NBA game. Jeffery is not upset at all. He's a team player. Don't be surprised if by December he becomes a regular in the rotation.

Afraid not. My Charlotte move is still delayed (darn job search going nowhere), so I sold one of my season tickets and used the "ticket trade" feature for the other (so I'll get an extra ticket for a future game). I think NBA League Pass might be having a free preview for the first week of the season, so maybe I'll be able to watch the game on TV despite being in New York.

Once I get down there, I would definitely be game for a meet-up with some board folks before a game sometime. Maybe you guys can show me the good spots to pre-game near the arena. I'll just be happy to actually be inside the arena and sit in my seats (finally!) for the first time though.

JefDav84- did you ever find an extra ticket? If you still need one, I can see if the Bobcats will let me "un-trade in" my extra. If they do, you can have it.

Wish I could be there. I've been to 4 opening nights and always love the energy. Just too exhausted from 8 straight days of work, and I have free tickets to go to the Suns game on Wednesday instead.

Y'all tell me how it is tonight. Was there a decent cheer for DJ when he entered the game? Any celebrities on the scoreboard screen?? The Lady Cats looking hot?? (Stupid question)
