Default What you want to see in game 2 vs. The Mavs.....

Maybe give MKG a few of Tyrus's minutes at the 4 spot. I suppose it depends on the matchups.

More low post touches for Mullens. Like Dunlap said, Mullens's game will blossom with diversity. And we NEED someone to establish themselves as a post player.

Kemba: Something like 18 pts and 8 asts on 15 shot attempts. He will likely be exhausted on the road coming off last night. We can't count on him to drop another 30.

A little more man-to-man. We can't get too predictable, and our players need to learn how to play it, now that we have the losing streak monkey off our backs.

A few more minutes for Ben Gordon(22 last night).

A few less minutes for Henderson(36 last night), but while he IS in there, I'd like to see him do more shot creation and be even better than last night's decent performance.

A little more of Gordon and MKG playing together.

I would like to see a few more minutes for MKG, 19 minutes isn't enough to really get a hold of the game, he got 7 boards and 2 blocks in 19 minutes !!.

I would also like to see Mullens post up a bit more, with his size and athletic ability i think he can be a real threat inside.

OKC tried to turn Mullens into a post player and he never did take to it, hence why he never got playing time. I think we need to accept what Mullens is to some extent. We can't count on him being a post presence, because that's just not the guy player he is.

Rather boringly I agree with all of this, with a special nod of agreement to your first two points.

    I'd add:

Jeff Taylor seeing as many of Williams' minutes as his performance warrants, with at least 2 x 3 minute runs regardless.

    I'm tempted to add:

    Tyrus Thomas being made inactive.

His performance, and most importantly his attitude, were truly disgusting last night. However I think this might be a case of cutting off your nose to spite your face. Dunlap needs to try to get Tyrus onside and producing for the good of the team and front office. Otherwise our only course of action will be to amnesty him (as we'd have to give up too much to trade him away) and I don't see MJ either 'wasting' that much money or admitting that trading for him and subsequently signing him to 'that' contract were such a huge errors.

More minutes for MKG and Gordon! Just want us to be competitive on the road and within striking distance in the 4th Quarter.

I respectfully disagree. While I'm glad you brought up the point about OKC, let's remember that Mullens was a questionable one-and-done guy coming out of college with a long way to go at the time.

He is still entering his physical prime. And guys tend to get tougher down there with maturity. He had two nice attempts on his two touches on the block last night. One went in.

He's our only hope down low on offense, and I think we just need to force feed it to him. Dunlap's comments last night were dead-on. He can't rely on the 3-point shot. He needs to be shooting from a variety of spots.

Also, he's a "4" this year. So he will get to post on smaller guys.

Mullens is 7ft so he should be able to post up against a 6ft 8/6ft 9 PF !

Agree with you on all aspects, Vet, except for you appraisal of Junior's performance as "decent". I thought, especially 2nd half, he was outstanding and overall had a good game on both ends. If Junior can put together performances like last night on a regular basis, dude will have surpassed my expectations and shut me up for good about not taking Jrue in the draft.

Would like to see Byron dominate this game. Posting up, shooting, setting screens, etc. Would also like to see Kemba follow up with a special night, Tyrus should be incredibly sorrowful and play like a real man.
