I admit, I don't even know who he is. Maybe it'll be a better list after a week or two of regular season games.

He's started out well with blocks and boards per minute. I'm just wondering if becomes anything more than a specialist.

MKG will likely be top 5 after the first week. He's sixth in scoring, but doing a lot more for his team than anyone other than Lillard and Davis. A couple of good, efficient scoring nights would put him in the top 3.

once he gets the hang of the nba speed/contact those drives and contested layups will start falling. he could easily avg. 15pts per game this year. i could see him as a 20 ppg player in the future, but it will take a surrounding cast that has an alpha scorer and another outside shooter so he can get the right spacing.

New rookie ladder on nba.com should be out any day. Will MKG break the top 10?? Hopefully they'll look at the whole package, not just shooting and point totals.......

Obviously they aren't looking at MKG..AD, an Lillard are the only 2 rookies playing better than him.

Lillard has shown some impressive stuff and MKG has surprised me as well. Davis on the other end didn't do as much as I think he's capable of. He played a couple of solid games, but unlike MKG and Lillard it doesn't seem like he got the ability to take over the game.
