Can we wait until the season is at least halfway before we make remarks like "the top 7 in the draft class will be multiple all stars" It's making people in this forum look like benevolent fools

Go easy on me, I'm from England, and no... I Don't love the Queen.
Beal and Barnes aren't even playing that good lmao. Why would you think they become all-stars? Have you seen the #'s Beal's put up some games? Atrocious.
Barnes has played pretty well imo... nothing Earth shattering or anything, but he's been good. He's also been doing a great job of finishing at the rim. Never thought I'd see the day after his tenure at UNC.
Beal is in a bad spot because he's trying to play intelligent basketball while surrounded by arguably the dumbest team in the league. It shows. He consistently tries to pick his shots, move off-ball, stay within what the offense is supposed to be - but then Crawford or Price will throw up some bullshit and he's left standing there with his mind blown. He does a lot of really, really good things on the court though. Stuff that you wouldn't expect from a rookie at all. He'll be fine (once he learns to play bad basketball like the rest of his team)
Have you ACTUALLY watched Barnes' last three games? I think we tend to rely on what the stats say rather then how the player is performing...If I look at MKG's stats, I would say WTF 20 minutes 5 fouls? But if I actually watched the games I'd know that he contributed a lot in those 20 minutes...
I've watched some of Beal's games...he has had some very bad games...but he has had very good games as well...it's ridiculous to believe that with Wall and Nene back in the lineup some of the pressure won't be all on him and he can dominate...
Barnes...Waiters and Lillard are the most polished offensive rookies in the draft...and Barnes did a very good job guarding KD last game when they were matched up against each other...
but if you like stats...Barnes has been averaging 16.3 pts while shooting 51.4% over the last three games (The only games he has attempted at least 10 shots in the season)
It's a small sample size, but had you watched the first few games and listen to Mark Jackson's interviews...he clearly states that he was playing mind games with Barnes to keep him motivated to work and get better (i.e. not announcing he's a started until before tip-off)...It's only recent that Mark Jackson is starting to call plays for him...If you remember last year Klay Thompson was not one of the main guys...So like i said...I believe they majority of the top 7 (at least 5 if not 6) will become all stars...
MORAL OF THE STORY...watch the games, stop looking at stats...
please don't use the ole "do you even watch the games" rhetorical statement. for one it is just a lazy way to say my argument is better than yours without proving anything, but for two it is a bush league argument starter reserved for the dregs of realgm forums.
Barnes has averaged 19 and 12 over his last 4 games, but his defense is still kind of eh
Actually I think Kidd-Gilchrist has slightly over achieved thus far. Hes averaging more rebounds than I thought he would, and I actually wasn't sure if he would average double figures with that broken jump shot of his. I knew he was great at driving to the rim and finishing, but I didn't know he was THAT good at it at such a young age.
