My Bobcats TV Situation

If you have charter in your area, you can now get the games on DirectTV.

Charter is still refusing to carry the games from what I understand.

I live in Sanford. So far, both games have been on Sports South and in HD. The Wednesday game is only listed in SD though. I'm waiting to see if it will end up being on the HD channel too.

Last year all Bobcats games were blacked out for me. Now I can get them.

the media rep was at the town hall meeting for season ticket holders with Jordan, Higgins and co before the home opener... a question was asked about the broadcast situation. basically, he said while it varies with each provider everyone in North and South Carolina will be able to get the games. If your cable provider doesn't offer, it than switch to Dish and they will.

Anybody know the deal with time Warner in the Columbia area? We had at&t last year and got every game but I haven't been able to find it flipping through the channels yet.

No idea. We quit cable tv a couple of years ago, but I have never been able to find games when I've been at friends' or families' houses.

Oddly, I was able to see the most games the first year, when there were a few random televised games, I believe before they brokered their first TV deal. After that I would see stuff listed, but something else always aired. Haven't checked recently.

Yeah it like to ditch cable and satellite altogether but we keep picking it up for some reason. Going satellite would be preferable but we're still doing that college student apartment complex thing so its too much of a hassle

I am in the exact same situation as Proudiddy. I just watched the pre game and got all excited. Now the game is blacked out.

i am keeping my fingers crossed that this keeps up. same situation in durham on DirectTv. for what it is worth, last year we didn't get the games period.

This is unfuckingbelievable man. I set the DVR to record, turned the channel on 650, planned my whole day around seeing the game... Excited. And what do you know? The game is 'blacked out in my area' now, I'm assuming because they showed us the cheap ass non-HD version to lure us into buying League Pass... And now nothing... I don't know that I've ever been more pissed off or disappointed in this team. Constantly fucking me over. How are we supposed to be fans when they make it so fucking hard for people to keep up with them in our own state. Fucking stupid ass cheap motherfuckers.

yup. perfect topping to my day long depression over last nights events. just curious anyone in the triangle have league pass on direct tv and still getting the games. that would be the perfect excuse for me to get league pass.
