My Bobcats TV Situation

Yeah I saw that you got it to him after I posted here last... It appears he's been tweeting back and forth and checking for a lot of fans. Crazy! It's cool of him to do that and I've always been a fan of Martin since our Hornets days. Good guy.

Steve Martin is really cool. The year we drafted Dudley a bunch of them came to Raleigh on that "Carolina Caravan" and he was with them. I got into a long drawn out conversation with him telling me war stories about the Cats...which I hardly remember any of now.

He fudges up a lot during games but I still like him a lot.

Chef did Steve tweet you back about the Sportsouth stuff? If I got what he was saying right, did he say in the RDU area we should be getting Sportsouth on DirecTV regardless? Because I don't have Sportsouth and I have Choice Xtra or whatever it's called...

i think steve martin came through. i am getting the cats in HD on direct tv in the triangle! he has vaulted to my favorite bobcat of all time.

What channel? Is it 650-1 (Sportsouth Plus) and is it just the game available while the pregame and postgame shows are blacked out?

I haven't checked the last three games, but after telling me MLB TV rules (who cares about baseball anyway) were what was keeping us from seeing them within the 150 mile radius, Steve tweeted me out of nowhere a couple days ago (the 17th I think) and said I needed to check out 650 and 650-1 for the game that night... I still haven't had the chance to do it, but I think I tried somewhere around the time he tweeted that (can't remember if before or after) and it was still showing the pregame blacked out... I haven't checked the game out itself.

Let me know either way man! I'm excited and have a feeling that Steve knows something!

Here we go with this crap again... Anyone else unable to see the game on the regular channels tonight? Have any idea of what's going on? I've been able to get our games on DTV on 647-1 AND 650-1 all season since Steve Martin addressed with with FoxSports, but for some reason tonight, it is saying "Not subscribed" again, like it did when they were blacked out.

This better not be because of the Hurricanes... Look, I love all of our home teams, but nothing will piss me off more than if I lost the ability to see us choke out another 4th quarter loss while Dunlap benches MKG for the 2nd half in favor of a stupid strike-shortened hockey season.
