Did you go to a high school in the CPC?

I can't remember what it was called because I only played there for my senior year, many many years ago. It was a 4A conference that included 4 Winston Salem schools (Parkland, Mt. Tabor, West Forsythe, Reynolds), plus 4 random schools in 4 different counties south of Forsythe County, as far south as Kannapolis. It was a true mix of rural, small town, preppy, and urban.

Best news ever! Been a fan since Reinhold Messner dropped (best concept album not named Sgt. Peppers) through his solo days (not big on Way to Normal however) and now the reunion of BFF. Met him a handful of times after shows and hung out with him a bit backstage...dude is the shit! Still hoping for a show at Reynolds Auditorium, a hometown show at his alma mater...come on, RJR and W-S, get on the fucking ball....he said he's game to doing it!!! But I digress....

...This is the best news ever!

(Not really my thing either, but Ben Folds is great at improv, which could be pretty cool at the arena.)
I'm a 90s R&B guy, probably the only person in my age group that doesn't fellate Lil Wayne and the rest of those dumbasses

Coming from a former Davie student. Tabor sure has our number. Havn't gone to a game in two years but I saw where they knocked us out of the playoffs. Props to ND though Shy Tuttle is something else.

Yeah, Davie County and North Davidson were also part of our conference way back when. Reynolds stunk. West Forsythe stunk. Parkland was so-so, and Mount Tabor was awesome. They had 2-3 division 1 college guys when I played them. One of 'em ended up being a starter in the Pac-10.

North Davidson's girls basketball team was a bunch of hotties. We're talking years ago. We wondered if the coach just made his preseason cuts based on eye candy.

You got my hopes up when I saw the thread bumped back up. I don't do twitter so I don't have any news (if there's any to be found) but I gotta think it's not looking good. Maybe happens at the season finale in April Please?

Funny you bring this up now because I was listening to the 3-disc Ben Folds "greatest hits/performances" album that came out a year or 2 ago (forget the official name of it) on the drive home from the game last night.
