Default Brain farts by Martin and Curry (I like those guys)

They are important to Charlotte basketball history and I want them to stay as our announcers. Just having a little fun with their errors.

Last night, Martin insisted that Bismack Biyombo blocked a Hornets shot for the win TWO years ago. "We didn't win down here last year." Since Bismack has been playing in the NBA for less than a single year(see lockout), I'm not sure how that is possible. Curry gently corrected him.

Last night, thanks to Dell Curry, "Roger Mason Jr." suddenly became "Anthony Mason Jr.". That sounds even better!

Yeah, I think Uncle Steve is starting to slip a little bit. Besides the Biyombo thing and continuing to say Brendan Hayward, I think he also said James Taylor earlier in the game instead of Jeff. But I'll give him all the passes in the world for having to endure last year and trying to fill dead air during our blowouts.

As an aside, I just looked up Anthony Mason Jr. to see whatever happened to him - pretty interesting and tough story: http://www.nba.com/dleague/news/brok...011_12_13.html

Steve fucks up a lot, but as far as I'm concerned, he's a legend in Charlotte basketball, and can do no wrong.

Additional note: I was shopping in Harris Teeter last week, and Dell Curry happened to be there. I was in the situation where we were headed in the opposite direction down every single aisle. I'm not the type to approach a celebrity, but I geeked out pretty hard dating back to his Hornets days. He was rocking a black sweatsuit with a Bobcats emblem on the shirt.

Black sweatsuit with the Bobcats emblem. Nice. He must WANT to be noticed.

I saw him 8ish years ago at a little joint close to the Manor Theatre. Nearly bumped into him as I was leaving the place. Shocked, I awkwardly mumbled "Hey Dell" and he just kind of gave me a blank look.

Which Harris Teeter?? Was it a good exchange??

Steve has to talk too much, I think he loses track of what he's actually saying. But they're both really cool to be around, they always stop and talk to people they recognize on the way from the pregame show to the courtside booth. And when they're not on air, they'll sit and talk with anyone. Nice guys.

7 minutes into the 3rd Quarter of the Wizards game this evening, Steve Martin goes, "You know, we haven't seen Ben Gordon tonight...."

NO CRAP!! We had to wait well into the second half for a mention of our possibly best player and why he hasn't been on the court or the bench??

    Bobcats TV crew fail!!

I'm pretty sure Stephanie Ready mentioned it earlier but there was a possibility he may show up later in the game.
