Going back to the "Hornets"

No way they rename Hugo, I can deal with the tweaks and refreshed logo.... I really believe the side panels of the new jersey's are a tip of the cap (as Thundercats posted in the jersey thread).

Chants of Bee-fense will be awesome too.. Still a lot of hurdles to clear before any of that happens but, the momentum seems to be building though...

I'd feel too much like "the desperate ex-girlfriend who only got her boyfriend back after he was dumped by his new one" if we just rolled everything back out.

Maybe keep the name but change the getup? Don't really care, but I'd like to see some things updated/changed/improved

That's kind of how I feel. Icky. I know it wouldn't be a gimmick, but sure would feel like one.

What sucks is I really love the teal and purple, the old school logo, and loved Hugo as a kid. So I mean, I guess I'd get over it if we just re-adopted everything, but I would still have that ”backup girlfriend” feeling that would really dampen the potential excitement.

They'd have a real opportunity to ”make the old Hornets the new Hornets” so hopefully they'd take advantage of it.

I'm open to changing to the hornets once the name is avalible but i'm fine if we stick with the Bobcats...but going back to the hornets and having the old colors would be really cool not gonna lie. You guys see what bonnell retweeted? New orleans is gonna change their colors to red gold and navy
