Going back to the "Hornets"

Inquiring minds would love to know.. Will you pull for the team if it changes the name?

I'll pull for the team because I am a real fan and I pull for the home team regardless.

I would support the home team even if they were named the Charlotte fruit-booty-ladylike-unicorns... But that doesn't mean that I would happy about them being named that.

If some of these people that feel like they can only support Charlotte's team if they are named the Hornets had the same philosophy, this would be a non-issue.

Since sometimes words seem to get lost deep inside a thread, I'll just repost:

There's been so many debates on this subject back and forth for the past couple seasons, and some good points pro and con. But honestly, I'd say for the sake of board sanity, lets just look at it like this - Jordan is either going to change it back or he isn't. We can't do anything about it except repeat the same arguments as we have the past couple years. There's no use anymore of arguing the economics, the history, the children. If it changes, great. If it doesn't, great. Let's just worry about it whenever they make a formal announcement, because every argument has been made, and nobody's minds are going to be changed anymore.

in all seriousness zig, if you haven't already, you should buy the domain name hornetsplanet.com or something very similar. i am planning on buying all of the hornet related stuff that is available and charging millions AND MILLIONS, of dollars for them. if you smelllllll what the chef is cookin.
