I'll eat all the crow. He looks great this year. I can only imagine all the work he put in during the off-season. Still can't believe he turned it around.

Right now there are only four players from the 2011 draft who, in my opinion, are making a similar or bigger contribution to their teams. I don't care if Kemba shoots .40 or .50 from the field, as long as he makes the team better I'm cool with it. take a look at Russel Westbrook for instance; he's considered as one of the best point guards in the league, and he shoots .43 for his career (and .29 from 3-point gange).

My only concern for Kemba has been his shot, and while his 3 is looking brutal, his midrange is much improved and that's just fine. For a guy who can break down defenders off the dribble (as he did last night, buckling somebody's knees with a hesitation out and in dribble) he will become unstoppable if he can knock down that jumper consistently.

As for his ball-hawking on defense...damn...he's turning into the second coming of Muggsy.

Thank you, MJ, for making sure we drafted Kemba at 9 instead of anyone else.

Lol not saying nothing about your post but its funny the 2011 draft in my opinion was the worst draft I've ever seen in my life.

I think his next step of development is staying efficient in the 2nd half when teams start to really dig in on defense. Kemba lights it up early in the game then tapers off a lot in the 2nd halves. Its no surprise he's behind a bit there since we were mostly getting blown out in the 2nd half of every game last year. Hopefully he's taking notes from Sessions. When he gets that part down we might really have an all star PG on our hands

Kemba is playing great. I love his willingness to get in the paint and rebound. It's only been 5 games I hope he keeps it up.
