We are much better than I thought and it was a pleasure to be at the last 2 home games. A winning streak!!!
I am not at the point that some of you are yet, worrying that the Cats will win too many games (I hope it gets to that).
It's a long season and I will be surprised if we are not in the bottom 5 come seasons end.
Gerald Henderson just called to remind us we were without his services for 2 of those wins. Ben Gordon was heard in the background saying "don't forget about me being out last night."
That said, we are much improved, we are respectable already, but we still are not high quality enough to worry about the draft.
Last game we were without Hendo and Gordon vs, them with no Wall and we won by 20. I think it more than evens out.
Cats look like a competent team this year. i still hope we can get a top three pick and get either Shabazz or Zeller.
We still have not gotten creditable wins vs teams with their stars playing. But a win is still a win
Theres major improvement, but we're playing low level teams and winning. I honestly think we'll end up between 19-21 wins this season looking at how teams are playing so far. Most of those wins coming from other crap teams like orlando and washington, throw in toronto occasionally, and a few other wins just because we're bound to win some of those.
This thread reminded me of exactly why I stopped coming here!
I just wanted to say how much more FUN the cats are to watch this year... so much intensity and skill. I am not sure you all respect how bad the East is this year... we might stumble into that 8th spot.

People complained about how bad we were and how we needed to do this and that to improve. But now we are looking decent and crying that we won't get top picks. Granted the really of how good of a team we are comes when we play more creditable teams. Washington is not that good with or without Wall. We needed that win against Dallas to get a monkey off our back. MKG showed us he is a player. Kemba too. Playoff and good teams don't go dreaming about top draft picks. We should play to win not for lotto balls
