This team is so much fun to watch. MJ, Higgins, & Cho have done a terrific job turning around the team so quickly. As weak as the east is, we may challenge for the playoffs which is awesome except we lose our pick...

This team plays great team ball, this is the kind of heart and hustle that Charlotte basketball fans love.

Not the best team we've had but its probably the most fun to watch and best working team we've had.

We need to get rid of Sessions. Sell him high for a solid pick and/or young player. OKC for Lamb + pick maybe? Get us some good value and get back to tanking.

It's so hard though because I LOVE watching this team scrap out wins. I'm so torn.

Definitely not. Trade our most consistent player, and only other point guard for Lamb and a late first?

You don't trade Sessions unless you're blown away by the offer, and that deal doesn't do it.

Keep rolling with the roster as is unless you can add a valuable big.
    In Cho I Trust

Remember that you're not only adding the Lamb + pick or whatever value you can get out of it...you are also adding more value to the Cats 2013 pick by getting worse. The Cats aren't going to win a championship with this roster. Especially if we play ourselves out of another pick altogether next year (we owe our pick to the Bulls if it's outside the top 14 I believe).

I'm down with trading Sessions with a package for Jeremy Lamb & a filler. No offense to Sessions. It's just business

No offense guys but that has to be the worst idea i have ever heard..why would any Bobcats fan want to go thru another season of being terrible?..just so we can get a higher draft pick who may or may not pan out?....and to trade Sessions who has been 1 of our top 2 players for a so so rookie and a late 1st rounder?..thats just crazy to me...we have been looking for a great PG since the Bobcats came to town and we finally have an up an coming stud in Kemba and 1 of the better backup PG's in the NBA this season in Sessions..and now we want to break that up after 9 games??

we just had to live through our hometown team having the worst season in NBA history...then we come out this year and actually look good and have a 5-4 record...can we just enjoy the good times and see where it takes us??...we are trying to get rid of the loser mentality in our organization...now it loks like we have to get rid of the loser mentality in our fanbase as well..i cant speak for any1 but myself but im really enjoying this years team and im excited to see how we do the rest of the year and what the future holds with the core we have along with the future draft picks we already have and the salary cap space that awaits us..GO CATS!!

I understand what you mean and no offense taken. But you must understand this- the reason we brought in Cho and blew up our team in the first place was because we were stuck in a treadmill. As much fun as the team was to watch and they kept our hopes and optimism alive, they were not going to win a championship. This team, as we have now, will also not win a championship. Competing year in and year out for the last spots in the playoffs and getting a really bad pick while never making the Finals is not a way to build a championship team.

With that in mind, Sessions is more valuable for our long term success as a trade asset. He is the type of guy who could put a top tier team (such as OKC) over the top by coming off the bench. Those teams would be willing to pay a lot in order to get him. In the process, we get worse for a year, get a chance at adding another piece to the puzzle through the draft, plus add other assets (Lamb + another pick in my hypothetical).

Like I said, I am torn about this team. I do not want this team to lose. I was ecstatic watching them tonight on my computer. I do not want this team to lose. But I am looking towards the future. I would rather be bad for a year or so longer in order to be great in the future rather than be above average for many years to come but never get over that hump. In the NBA today, that is what you must do if you are not a big market team that can bring in the best free agents every year.

everyone needs to stop worrying about playing armchair GM and enjoy the victories. Cho is better at it than you. the man turned Corey Maggette into a future lottery pick. imagine what he is going to do when other teams actually desire players on our roster

We had a debate that if we were better than expected, which it seems like we definitely are, what does it mean? Most of us said that somebody in our young core would have developed to a point to where we could count the rebuilding as ahead of schedule.

Kemba and Mullens have improved light years from last season. I dare say they can be two starters that form the core of the team if they prove this great stretch of play can be consistent. Those two with MKG are playing well. This is being done without Gerald, which now brings us to the point of how good can we be with him playing consistently along with those 3?

Sure, a Top 5 pick is great but damn guys, haven't we learned anything from our past? Even with Rich Cho running things NOTHING is guaranteed with draft picks. And as I sat my ass there last season and suffered through that crap of last season, I trust that Rich Cho has a plan that if we are ahead of the rebuild, he will adjust accordingly and still find us what we need in the draft, through trade, or even free agent pickups now that players see us as a hungry and up and coming team that they want to be a part of.
