Never was a fan of his, His style doesnt fit our team anyways, i hope we dont resign him but the way jordan talks about him i wouldnt be suprised smh, were not gonna progress with him on the team, i hope we can trade him for a big or something, hes never gonna be a 20ppg guy, hes like Augustin if he left this team today he probably wouldnt even start anywhere and us keeping him doesnt make us better, hes takin up space
Hendo seems perfect as a hybrid 2/3 6th man for to back up someone like mohammed.
overrated since when?
he's consistently been an above average defender at worst. no one will argue that. last season, when his defense took its first noticeable dip, was when he also had to put the majority of the team's scoring on his shoulders as well as being the go-to defender. sessions and ben gordon have been getting routinely torched night in and night out - if it weren't for mullens being an abomination unto the basketball gods, it would be brought up much more often.
i'm not saying henderson is some best kept secret, i'm just saying that he deserves a shot (outside of preseason...) to show what he bring to the team this year. Kemba got his shot. Mullens. Haywood. Sessions. Even Tyrus. There's no point rushing trades or in making moves just to say you made moves.
Hendo most certainly deserve his shot. It's a long way until February
Sessions > Hendo
