I read what you are trying to say and I agree that the 2014 draft will be very strong but the way it appears as of right now we will not be among the 3 worst teams come 2013-2014 season. Both Portland and Detroit owe us picks in 2014 with middling protection so it's very possible that we may have 3 picks in the top 20 of that draft to build on any success we may have then. We could capitalize on getting a combination of players instead of tanking to the bottom in hopes of getting Andrew Wiggins knowing that we might not get him like we didn't get Anthony Davis this past year.

Not to say he is the answer but I was impressed with Mullens work in thepost during the Milwaukee game.
He was aggressive and calling for the ball.
Itis good to see him there rather than standing at the three point line.

We don't really have a guy with the game take on the other teams best post defenders right now. Biz could develop that with his little jump hook but right now he is having problems just making the catch. He needs to work on burying his man in the post a little bit before the catch with that big body of his and teammates need to look for him a little more. I have seen a few guys turn down a pass to biz only to clank a jumper.

Mullens could get it going, but right now he seems to want to be adam morrison/dirk noviski.

MKG should be the first option, but we need to run plays to drag some of the other teams defenders out of the post. I see a lot of guys standing around in our offense. When people move the defense is not in a position to help, but if everyone stands around all the defenders are ready to make a play on the ball. Another thing we could do is go small with MKG at PF and mulley at the center. Mullens can space the floor by standing in the corner and MKG can take the other post guy one on one at the basket. Or, use MKG in the pick and roll with kemba or sessions and get him the ball while he is already moving towards the rim rather then having him dribble drive by two defenders. There are lots of options but so far we aren't seeing much creativity from this coaching staff. If kobe can be a post threat on the lakers I know MKG can be a great post scoring option.

While Al Jefferson would give us something we lack he sucks on defense. I don't think we need one of the best players in the game to win, but I think we need to build around 5 or 6 very good two way guys like the pistons did during there run. Al Jefferson would not really fit into that and he is an older player where the return for the money isn't always that good. Look at what happened with Elton Brand.

I agree with everything you said, but Al is only 27...that's not really that much older than Sessions (26 years old)

I guess my stance is a little weird...I don't want us to "TANK" per se...I want us to compete, but in the back of mind I'd ideally want us to be in the 3-5th worst record range...with that we stand a much greater chance at landing a top pick...If we don't, then hopefully we can put all the picks together and try to jump to get a top 3 pick...

Seeing us play well is really all i want...but at the same time I would love to get Wiggins or Parker...

I would love for us to get Wiggins as well and I think Parker will still be in our playing cards being that we should have multiple 1st round picks come 2014. I just don't agree with sacrificing the growth of MKG, Kemba, Mullens, and even Biyombo in the process as a decent plan because in order for us to tank then those guys will have to play below their standards. Believe it or not, winning has a better way with development than additional talent because it brings confidence in playing abilities. I don't know if I worded this post right enough to get my point across but it make sense to me.

I think we're both on the same line of thought...

We want the bobcats to play hard and compete...if we get wiggins or parker, then that's also great...we shouldn't purposefully tank to get the pick though

MKG has shown signs of posting up and he's looked good when he's done it.

As long as NC has a team, I'm going to cheer for it
