It is our best off-season
2012 is shaping up to be the best off-season in Bobcats history. We added MKG, Jeff Taylor, Ramon Sessions, Ben Gordon, and Brandon Haywood. We dropped off-injured Maggette. We didn't lock up Henderson to an overpriced deal. And so far Dunlap looks like the real deal. It got me thinking: How would you rate the Bobcats' off-seasons?
Edit: (Sorry about the frownie face in the title. I don't know how that happened.)
Just a few thoughts here.....not a complete list.....:
2012: A home run? Anthony Davis and Jeff Taylor might have made it a grand slam.
2011: Not bad. Kemba is now looking like the Kemba of the Big East, and Bismack is still a very young hard worker with physical tools. Also, we traded a 2nd round pick for Mullens. No-brainer there. We got Rich Cho.
2008: Mixed bag. We added Larry Brown, who dramatically increased our wins, but we also blew the draft, grabbing DJ and Ajinca instead of Brook Lopez and ANYBODY else.
2007: Mixed bag. We added J-Rich, who was eventually converted into assets which helped us make the playoffs, but we also hired Sam Vincent.
2006: Adam Morrison. 'Nuf said.
