Finding minutes for good players is an issue I am happy the Bobcats have again. With that said I think JT will get the starting nod until Hendo can get back any of the rustiness he had from the time off. After that happens I think Taylor has earned some bench minutes on the second unit. This will save MKG and Hendo for late game situations. My guess would be JT will backup MKG primarily and slide over to the 2 every once in a while if BG is having match up issues.

Talent i agree with u that its really nice to have the problem we have....who would have thought that we would have this problem so soon...too many players and too much talent with not enough spots/minutes....its a great problem to have...Once Henderson comes back tayor might get the start for a game or 2 and Henderson would come off the bench ..just to get back in the groove of things...but Henderson will be our starting SG once he is back to 100%...Taylor will get plenty of minutes..mostly at SF and im pretty sure that with his awesome defense that Taylor will be inserted in late game situations where we need a stop or anytime that we need to cool off a hot player or need some1 to play defense on a guy ...the lineup will go back to Kemba at PG with Sessions backing him up...Henderson with Gordon backing him up...MKG with Taylor backing him up...Mullens with Warrick and Biz backing him up....and Haywood with Biz backing him up ..hopefully getting Henderson back doesnt affect our chemistry bc these guys are playing great together right now...but in the long run having Henderson back makes us an even better team then we are right now...im really liking what we have going on right now...we have a really talented and young starting lineup and our bench is probably the strongest it has ever been

@ Adam ..Concering B Gordon....maybe the stats show that we are better when Gordon is out of the game...but honestly i feel like as the season goes on that B Gordon will be a huge asset to this team...he isnt playing great ball right now...i contribute that to the fact that he is on a new team for the 1st time in several years and learning a new offense and a new role...and then him getting injured which really slowed his progress...i agree that right when he came back from his injury he didnt look very good out there...but after watching the past 2 games i have noticed that Gordon has started to improve and seems to be fitting in with this team and his role more and more as each game goes on...i know he only scored 13 off the bench vs the Raptors but i felt like that was 1 of his best overall games with us...

As the season progresses and every1 on the team gets more comfortable with their specific role on the team that Gordon will be an asset and not a liability ..He is a guy who can come off the bench and get 20 points real fast and he is able to score in bunches ..ala a poor mans Jamaal Crawford....there will be games that Gordon is our leading scorer and there will prob be games that we wonder why we are giving him minutes at all....but i really do think that there will be games when our offense is struggling and our starters arent hitting shots and Gordon is able to come in and hit some shots for us and keep us in games....the guy is a scorer and we are better off with him as our backup Sg then what we have had in the past ...and Gordon is a guy who isnt afriad to take a big shot in a pressure situation...and thats huge for us..last year it seemed like guys were scared to take a big shot and now we have 4-5 guys ( Gordon , Sessions , Kemba, Henderson and even Mullens ) who arent afriad to take that big shot at the end of games....it may be hard to see now but i think he will help us big time as the year goes on and he will win us some games..and then next year Cho can trade his huge expiring deal for some really good pieces / draft picks

The offense gets worse and our opponent's offensive rating skyrockets.

Ben Gordon doesn't crack the list until 9th down and he's on every single one of the bottom 10 lineups.

Still early in the season, so these will be trends worth watching, but the evidence is pretty damning in my mind.

And my eye test says that while he may score 14 points in 23 minutes, he is constantly getting abused on defense. When Hendo gets back, give all of Ben Gordon's minutes to him. I'm starting that bandwagon now.
I'm with you that Gordon hasn't been playing the best of minutes, but that's what usually happens when you play with the weaker lineup instead of the starters. Using +/- stats can be telling sometimes, but it doesn't always tell the story. Gordon had a +9 in the game against the Raptors while our ESPN Top Performer Kemba Walker had a -5. As long as Gordon is contributing instead of not giving us any production, I'm fine with him getting minutes. Team's 3rd leading scorer with 7th most minutes is pretty valuable considering that this team is kind of offensively challenged.

Also with Hendo back the 2nd line up gets better with Taylor sliding over to the 3. Gordon will not be as pressed with him and sessions as options.

No one has actually mentioned that reggie williams has been getting minutes as well. Williams will probably be out of the rotation, sessions will go back to playing pretty much exclusively at point guard as kemba's back up, taylor will back up MKG as well as play small ball with him since warrick isn't lighting the world on fire and hendo will start. There's enough minutes to go around.

While sharing out the minutes is going to be a bit of a head scratcher, just look at the variety of line-ups we can put out.

Because Taylor can guard most 2s & 3s in this league he'll earn some minutes in that role.

Because he's probably our second best 3 point shooter he'll earn minutes for his ability to space the floor (which I really hope will enable Mullens to operate closer to the basket) and help swing scoring momentum.

I'm sure he'll average 14-18 minutes when everyone's healthy and that's enough for him to continue to develop. His future appears to be a bright one ... very happy we drafted him.

Understood but you can't argue how important he has been to and for Biz. He's the first player to ever have faith in giving Biz the ball in the post consistently and Biz is rewarding him and the team and best of all, improving. Plus, I love a stone cold shooter and BG is the first we've ever had and I find it to be a treat watching him when he's on. Also, I don't find his defense to be that bad. With nothing to back me up but my memory, he's had plenty of on ball deflections and steals...he's no worse than Sessions.

Unfortunately Junior needs his minutes to get his stock to a decent position, but I'd rather keep things as they are in terms of the rotation. He sure as hell hasn't shown he can use a Biz on ball screen the way BG can and he's never looked for him in the post either...
