Agreed!!! I see why Big Pat (PA announcer) stopped calling him 7 feet of smooth... LOL
BJ's shooting % from 3.... Make it stop.
Coach D, needs to put a stop to the volume of 3's that he is taking.
(33rd most 3's attempted in the league)
1. He can't shoot effectively from that distance.
2. It takes him out of rebounding position.
3. Did I mention he can't shoot?
I would give him the following guidelines, you can shoot as many 3's per game as u like.... Until you miss, after you miss- get your 7' ass in the lane.

His defense vs. ATL was pissing me off more than the 3s but yeah, I agree with the point. Funny thing is 2 games ago he was STELLAR in the midrange/underneath game and Dunlap gushed over him about it. In the next 2 vs. TOR and last night it's like he reverted back for some odd reason.
Going small with Mully as the lone big is a trainwreck waiting to happen when the opposing sides have bigs like Horford/Smith/Pachulia.
Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, ‘All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker
"Its okay to be bad; just so long as you're bad ass." - Keetch
he's just in a slump they said
wait til he gets hot they said
Nothing against Mullens but they need to ban him from taking another 3 point attempt until he's over 50% FG. No way a 7 footer should be shooting 37%. That's detrimental enough before I even mention his defense
Like I've said before, blame the coaching staff. They are obviously comfortable with him taking the shots he takes. The offense we run has him at the top of the key a lot, and they gave him a green light.
We ran a wheel offense when I played in high school, which meant I had to play at the top of the key, and in a sense be the point guard at times, but I am 6'8'' and can't hit the three, so I knew I would get chewed out if I took it. Mully doesn't have that fear.
In Cho I Trust
exactly
he could be doing SO MUCH BETTER
and i'm not blaming the coaching staff either. its clear that they've got into him and his defense has stepped up from el garbage to slightly below average - but shooting tendencies aren't easy to break. you see him trying to stop, but he can't yet. mistakes of a young player
its still painful to watch though
Mully can be frustrating, but when he's on, he's on. If dude is feeling it, he can go 20/12 easily and nobody is complaining. The ATL game and a few others drive me crazy, but comparing him to Tyrus and other garbage players of the past is a little excessive..... IMO.
